Q: I got mine 2 weeks ago. today, when firing as usual with included darts, the visible spring in the plunger tube came loose. it doesn't seem to affect performance but it's concerning. should I return?

A: it is a little cheap but i mean for 35 bucks shooting 140+ feet very ez moddable for noobs even average of 135 fps and have to unjam some u can buy 190$ one that preforms a little better and no jam ;/

submitted byfox - 2 years agoA: RETURN IT. About 10 other things will go wrong with this very poorly constructed blaster. Bolt is thin plastic framework crumpling w/ 1 jammed (unnoticed) dart. Air tube CRACKS, mags break, etc...

Q: I was trying to load it and then a bullet got stuck and I cant get it out. Now the gun won't fire, should I risk it and try to take it apart or should I just retern it?

A: If you have the proper tools and a little skill, you should probably take the blaster apart and pull it out from there. (Assuming no pieces have broken)

The X Shot Longshot Pro performs well out of the box, and has almost everything you could ask for out of a high-performance blaster, with one exception: The plunger tube is made out of a transparent plastic that is extremely prone to cracking or even shattering. For my unit, the plunger tube cracked after fewer than 200 shots, at which point the performance dropped significantly. Do NOT get this blaster unless you know how to crack it open and replace the plunger tube!

My son got it for Christmas and the gun constantly jams and breaks the darts that came with it. I would return it however the box was thrown out Xmas day.

Gun is jammed and unusable within 2 hours of opening it as a Christmas gift from Santa. We tried to take it all apart and fix it but can’t get it to work. Hoping Target will return it because we already threw away the box for it.

I bought one from a big blue competitor and saw it was on sale here, so I ordered two more. These things are just so fun. It seems to jam on the big darts at least once every three clips, but I have no issues with the little darts so far. The blue competitor carries extra clips. Also, if you can find the nitro shot and darts, get those. I have at least 12 hours of abuse playing with adults and kids, and nothing has broken. GET SAFETY GLASSES. I'm unsure why they're not included if the little darts fly fast and hit hard.

Stick to nerf ! This gun jams constantly especially with the larger darts. No matter how you shoot it and customer service with manufacturer is horrible they ask for photos and videos as if someone is lying I'm hoping I can return to target as we are out 15 darts since they all jammed and had to be ripped out

Bought this twice and plunger cracked each time, understand that you get what you pay for. I would suggest if you’re not keen on “modding” or trying to fix a problem that should have been done before the release of the blaster, save yourself a headache and get the DartZone Max Stryker. More reliable and no headaches.
