Tomato preparation is beyond compare. The 5” serrated blade effortlessly slices thru the body - thick or thin, dices cleanly without crushing and the plain tip excoriates the stem easily. I STILL have not had the need to sharpen mine after years of ( light ) use. Small French or Italian bread loaves can be sliced cleanly and easily, with minimal crumb shed. What more could you ask for?

Slices very thin if you prefer and doesn't just butcher what you are cutting. I hope to get many years of use out of this knife and have just purchased the 2 pc. prep set because I am so impressed with this knife.

The material and design of the new handle is more durable and surprisingly comfortable to grip with arthritic hands. I would highly recommend this knife.
