I bought it in Vancouver today and I tried to use it upon arrival at home It failed for carrot and beet.i think it is good only for fresh cucumber.

If you are selective about what you want to spiralize, this is a handy tool. It works well for softer vegetables, like zucchini. But it can be a little frustrating for harder ones, like carrots. Washes mostly well but food does get stuck in the blades. For me, this tool works best when I quickly want a small amount of spirals. It complements but does not replace a larger spiralizer. But the price reflects this fact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice addition to the kitchen to add a decorative “twist” to an ordinary vegetable. It is a little harder to use than I had anticipated and you need to use smaller cuts of the vegetable you want to spiral cut.
Helpful for dinner prep.

We have really enjoyed this with all the zuchinni from our garden. I love the compact size and that everything is stored within itself. Takes up less space than some other spiralizers I've seen. Even the kids eat more veggies now.

This spiralizer is such a compact little kitchen helper. Not only does the tool spiralize with very little effort but all of the blades store right in the container. Nothing gets lost and the compact design makes storage easy.
