Q: Why are OG dolls show "no articulation?" Their arms, legs, and head move in their sockets, don't they? Does this just mean that they don't bend at the elbows and knees?

Beautiful doll for inclusion of Muslims. I would also like to see inclusion of other religions, not to single out Muslims. We need Catholic nun, priest, Jewish yarmulke, etc dolls. Hijabis should not be singled out by this doll company.

This doll has a gorgeous face, dimples and all. The one I got came with the hijab crooked and hair visible. What they don't show here is the that the hijab is stuck on her head with multiple platic things similar to the what are used to attach price tags to clothing, but tight to her head. It would look silly to leave them on, but I don't know if the hijab would stay on without them. The description says she has long, black, wavy hair, but I'm wondering if it would be all mashed up, and if so, what it would take to get it to lay nicely. Haven't taken her out of the box, much less cut all of the plastic things off her head. If knew that her hair was pretty without the hijab, I might get her anyway, but I'd want to start with one that looked right.

Hi Ruby Slippers - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about the Our Generation Doll Mirna. We want to assure you that Mirna's hair is beautiful under the hijab. You need not worry about that. The hijab is secured in the box to be respectful of religious traditions, by not showing the hair. The back of the doll's hair is also not visible in the package, for the same reason. We felt it was important to take special care when preparing the packaging. Once the hijab is removed though, it can easily be placed on and off the doll's head, and the hair is the same high quality as all the other Our Generation dolls. Mirna is beautiful! Her dimples is so adorable, she has nice thick curly hair and her lips has a shimmer to it, like she's wearing lip gloss. Her arms and legs are not hard plastic like the previous og dolls. Her clothes are good quality, her hijab is cute too. My only complain is her shoes, it doesn't match her outfit. Looked like it was just thrown on her without much thought put into it.
