Q: Were these supposed to come with nipples? I did not receive them with my set. Only the screw on lid and nipple caps.

Q: Can I heat up breast milk with these bottles in the microwave?

A: Hello Caro--- We do not recommend heating breastmilk in the microwave. Microwaving can cause severe burns to baby's mouth from hot spots that develop in the milk during microwaving. Microwaving can also change the composition of breastmilk. You can hold the bottle under warm running water or you can place the sealed bottle in a bowl of warm water for 20 minutes to bring it to body temperature. A: Good question. The 8oz bottles are too tall for the cooler bag. The bag will fit four 5oz bottles.

Q: Are these bottles steam safe (for using in bottle warmers)?

A: We have only tested our bottles with Medela’s hospital grade bottle warmer. Medela recommends that you thaw milk overnight in the refrigerator, or hold the bottle under warm running water to quickly thaw. You can also place the sealed container in a bowl of warm water for 20 minutes to bring it to body temperature.

absolutely love these!!! they are so much nicer than the older bottles, the lettering is darker which makes it easier to read (I will say though after using the old ones it took me a second to really place my finger on how much was in the bottles) I would recommend these!!

Use these to store milk in the fridge after pumping. I have no complaints about the quality of the bottles. However, I have had to size up to the larger ones since I started producing more than 5oz

I used this bags to freeze breast milk and some PF them started leaking when defrosted , to much cold temperatures made them tear apart

Bought the 8oz storage bottles as my production went up after 5 weeks pp. I had a lot of the 5oz but it was starting to take too much space inside my fridge so that's why I upgraded to the 8oz ones. Highly recommend them! Shipping was very quick as well considering I live in a US Territory.

I got two 3 packs and I can’t use them anymore. The nipples fall out extremely easily. My twins started pulling the nipple off so now formula gets all over. I don’t want to risk them putting the nipple in their mouth (after taking it off the bottle) and choking on it. So I just wasted money on 6 bottles that’s I can’t even use. Very poor nipple design.

I just bought these bottles yesterday (6 5-oz bottles), and my husband immediately cleaned and sanitized them. He didn't inspect them prior, but when I took them out to prep for use I noticed that 2 of the bottles had thinner plastic and one even had a permanent dent in the side. The other 4 bottles seem sturdy, so hopefully they continue to hold up, but I am not impressed by the inconsistent quality. I am concerned that the thinner plastic bottles are defective and may not withstand continued sterilization or worse, pose a potential danger to my newborn. I will be avoiding use of those 2 bottles out of the 6.

I used Medela for my first son and it worked well as pump and storage system so decided to buy again for my twins (second pregnancy). Noticed the plastic of the bottles was a bit more flexi but didn’t expect that in a short time would deform and warp permanently. I noticed first one bottle and I couldn’t get the bump out now I hand another one with huge deformation. I am wondering if the bottles are safe for the babies as the plastic integrity is affected. Very upset as I even use this bottles to feed the babies (something I didn’t do with my first born as I used other bottle to feed).

We don’t use these as bottles, but love them for pumping and storing fresh breast milk. It’s nice to have the larger bottles for morning pumps when I produce more than the standard 5 oz bottles hold.

I use the medela hand pump and needed these because I was pumping much more than 5oz at a time. I believe these can hold about 9.5oz in them. I only use it for pumping/storage so I can't say anything about the nipple. But I do wish the cap was a bit more sturdy like the ones for the 2.7oz bottles. I like that the markings are easy to read.
