Came in two pieces in the mail, so some assembly is required. The magnification side is very weird and you have to be an inch away for it to work. The nickel finish looks cheap. Wish I could return this but would be too hard to mail back.

I love it because it has a smaller profile which works best for my tiny bathroom. And I love the brushed finished. It's not that bright shiny silver. This is a more subdued matte looking silver. Also love that the mirror angle stays in place. The mirror doesn't just flip around like some others with the same design.

The 10x magnification side is flawed. If you hold the mirror at normal arm length you won't see anything. The picture is blurred. To get the 10% maginification you have to hold it inches from your nose. This defeats the purpose for me as I wear glasses and need the maginfication to apply eye makeup. If I backup enough from the mirror to use mascara (without poking out my eyeballs) I cannot see anything.

Mirror is solid. It magnifies, as promised. But the way it curves limits how much you can see magnified at one time, which can be very frustrating. It is not easy to work with.

The regular mirror is good. The 10X magnified mirror truly looks like a funhouse mirror and it is very blurry. Since I purchased this for the magnified mirror, I’ll sadly be returning this.

I bought this for the 10x magnification. The 10x side is very badly distorted, making anything but the very center of the mirror unusable. It's fine for tiny hairs if you can find where they are and get that part centered in the mirror. You can't do winged liner or mascara with it at all though! Also, my 8x mirror magnifies more! This mirror will look pretty on your vanity, but that's about it.

I was going to buy a heavier mirror with a light, but we have a small space so this worked better. I will say it's a bit short, so we have it sitting on a little box. As to the value, it's nicely made, though I do wish it had be about $5 cheaper.
