Q: Is the top smooth or have texture? I want to use it as a small computer desk. If the table is smooth, it should work with a mouse, but if it's not I'll need a mousepad.

A: Flip the table over. If you want a lower table, push the top bar of the legs into the slots on the outside. If you want it higher, press the bar into the middle slots.

I never got it set up, despite following the "instructions." (It actually seemed as if the table was defective.) A table like this should be easy to set up and fold back down. It also seemed that if it actually was set up, it would be flimsy, and ideal only for holding things you did not care about at all.

I've been using this folding tray a few times a week for about two years. I find it to be stable-my beverage won't spill even if I lean on the tray. It's easy to set up, especially after doing it a few times (a frail senior might have trouble). The slightly asymmetric design works well. The cutout on the side for the folded legs makes a great spot to clamp an LED desk lamp.

The perfect, practical table. It’s just larger enough to hold our small tv and Xbox, while also not being too much in the way. It’s also very sturdy, it hold everything previously mentioned plus our cats when they feel the need to also sit on it.

This table doesn't use the typical way to set it up. Instead it requires the user to push a bar into a plsstic slot on the bottom on the table top. The bar is very resistant to setting into the slot. This requires a fair amount of strength and dexterity to accomplish. The height and size are ok IF you manage to set it up. This is cheaply made and less accessible than the older style. The process is unwieldy, and the bar can slip before it goes into the slot.

I can’t find any detailed information about the materials but I’m also certain this table contains FIBERGLASS. I am seeing thin sharp shiny crystalline shards of what looks like fiberglass when cleaning the tabletop, you can see it in the sun better. I’m very concerned. This is very dangerous and fiberglass should not be shedding when I clean the top of the table.
