Q: Indicator is green but hardly anything is coming out, even on max setting

A: This is usually an indication that the unit needs to be cleaned. i would recommend adding two tablespoons of distilled white vinegar to the base of the item, along with one cup of water, and allowing it sit and soak for 30-60 minutes before rinsing it out and setting the unit up again. If this does not resolve the issue, please reach out directly to Crane USA's customer service team.

Q: Tried to turn ours on tonight after using it for about 6 months and the light is red instead of green and it won’t work. It is full of water and has been cleaned. Tips?

A: A red light indicator can mean the water level sensor cap and float may have some buildup on them. This is easily resolved by removing the cap and float and rinsing them in clean warm water and then reattaching them onto the post in the base. i walked into my sons room and it smelled like something was burning or on fire like an electrical fire was happening. i noticed the elephant humidifier was what that smell its very unfortunate that this happened bc it really was working well until that happened. that is the only reason im giving 2 stars. I would like either a refund or some kind of credit thank you

I received this adorable humidifier at my baby shower. when my daughter was younger I seldom used it, but when she started going to preschool & kindergarten I've used it quite frequently. since that's when they start getting sick more. After about a year of use it started leaking, not all the time but enough to make a big mess when it did. The worse thing about this is the cleaning, there are so many books & crannies it impossible to get it 100% clean & I am now convinced it was getting my daughter more sick by spreading bacteria that was growing in it through the air she's inhaling. Needless to say it went in the trash. It's heartbreaking to think that something your using to help your child is making them worse. Please research & but one that's easy to clean for your little ones!!

Had this humidifier for over a year. Used occasionally. One day it just started to have a major leak and stopped working. Soaked everything! I hardly got any use out of it and we liked it when we did use it. Unfortunately it just stopped working and developed a major leak without any external damage. Very unfortunate.

This is super cute and runs almost silently, but it is a major pain to clean. It has a ton of little rivets and nooks/crannies to wipe out, and even using a q-tip for this is tough. Recently, mine became filled with mold and I’m unable to access it to remove it. Will be tossing mine in the trash and finding one that is easier to clean (worth a basic look for ease of cleaning).
I think the shapes are adorable.

This little elephant made my daughter feel less afraid of the humidifier when she was sick because of the cute little animal face. It soothed her so much I while sick and gave me peace of mind through the night. Overall very happy to have purchased this for our baby, and happy to have it if she’s sick again in the future, great long term purchase.

Bought this and used it for a while, stored it properly to the instructions. pulled it back out and boom, first night, second night, and several more times after, we woke up to a soaking wet shelf, ruining our dresser. Difficult to clean. mold forms inside all over if you don't clean it out daily. 2 stars because it was cute and worked for a week.

Received this via our baby registry in June 2020. Didn't use it until November, when it started getting cold and our heater started drying out our apartment. It was easy to use and we were happy with this product for the first month of actual usage. Then, little by little, it started leaking water from the bottom. It started off minor (small puddle of water after a full day of use) but now, it leaks so much that we would need to keep a small towel nearby. Unfortunately, I am just now noticing some other reviews mentioning water leaking. Too bad- we really liked this humidifier the first few weeks we were using it.

I've had this one for years!! I'm not sure how it's gotten bad reviews. I love that it's not loud, it doesn't soak when it's on, as the mist is soft. It does hold a lot of water which is nice, no need to refill frequently.

Super cute but it doesn’t hold a gallon and if it’s on the highest setting it runs for about 30 mins. :/ honestly disappointing. If it doesn’t hold a gallon of water that should be stated in the description.

purchased this cute elephant last winter, but never opened the box until this year. Turned it on and it worked for ONLY 4 DAYS before it stopped working. Crane company tried troubleshoot to fix it and it is broken. So not worth the $50+ for it to work less than a week.

PROS: Cute. Holds a lot of water so you don’t have to refill too often. CONS: Leaks frequently. If you put it on the highest setting, the general area around the humidifier gets soaked. Doesn’t humidify a big area.

I had bought the Crane Adorable Elephant Ultrasonic Cool Mist for my daughter during the cold/flu season a few years ago. I love how it still help's with her stuffiness and her cold/flu symptoms. I love how adorable it is and how the mist comes out of the trunk. The only thing that I don't like is how to fill up the tank.. Everything else is amazing and would recommend this product 100%!!

Had this unit for just over a year, so the warranty period is expired coincidentally, and out of no where it starts leaking profusely from under the elephants trunk, but there is no crack or other visible damage, I have no idea why it suddenly started to leak like it is, but it is looking like it is not repairable, would need a replacement elephant head to work as it should likely.
