I really love this detergent. I know people says it has such an awful smell or that it's harsh for your baby but I've never had an issue and the smell never bothered my daughter or myself. I thought it was pleasant. My daughter has really sensitive skin and it's really hard to find good products for her but the dreft never failed! It cleans stains really well, I do an extra rinse for baby clothes always to be safe and I never have felt like there's an over powering smell after. Just a subtle baby smell to me. Her clothes are always soft just using the dreft by itself. I also recommend the dreft stain remover spray. I go through it like water though lol but you have a stain that stuff is getting it out! I love the dreft products and still use the stage 1 on my 8 months clothes and my own! Would recommend!

Gentle on baby skin. I’m sad they changed the scent. It used to smell like baby powder, now the scent is a little strange. When my baby turned 1 I switched her to the same detergent I use for the rest of the families clothes. Dreft is good and gentle for baby skin but in my opinion it is too expensive. I only used this until my kids turned 1 to ensure their baby skin wouldn’t be affected by harsh detergent.

What an unpleasant surprise….baby scent has changed. We don’t like it at all. Will exchange to the scented version or use the same detergent we use for every one else on baby’s clothes.

I just did all laundry for my baby on the way and I am overwhelmed by the scent while sitting in the nursery- how can this be safe? I now need to do all of the laundry again as I am afraid this scent means lots of chemicals

Dreft has been the go to baby detergent in my family for years. So naturally I bought this to wash all my baby's clothes before arrival. As soon as I opened the washer door I instantly smelled the fragrance. Very disappointed in discovering that this detergent has such a strong scent for newborns. Now I have to find another product to re-wash everything with my due date quickly approaching. Smh.

This is a gimmick and not effective at all. It has a very strong smell which means there are a lot of chemicals in it and it’s not really eco-friendly. The packaging lures you in but it’s not good for the baby’s skin. Not good value for your money.
