Generally love this brand and have good success with the product quality and wearability. Specifically for the Birthday Girl pink I wanted a muted pink with some translucency. The product picture looks like this. What I got was basically a sparkly clear coat. Minimal pink tint, and sparkles which is not what I wanted for this particular color. Product photo is inaccurate.

Too thick and hard to paint with unless you want to flood your cuticles. Polish takes forever to dry and almost seems old, due to the thickness. I do love the color, though.

I have had the worst luck with Essie polishes (they chip almost immediately) and can never understand why people like them. However, I thought I’d try one more time as this color was the perfect rusty red for fall. My mistake — it’s just as poor quality as I remembered!
