I paid 24.99 for it in February 2025. The whisk is useless, but the blender and the chopper are good. No problems so far. Yes, the chopping piece cover traps water during washing but it’s a minor issue . Really upsetting to see prices go up on everything:(

Weak Motor
I used this for the first time to make homemade mayo, and it kept giving off a burning odor as if it was straining to mix up the mayo. Because it struggled to make something as easy as mayo I cannot believe that it will work well for chopping and blending anything firm like an onion. Also, I found it tedious to clean because it has a lip around the mixing end that the mayo settled on.

Design flaws did me in.
I have really only used this for making a batch of hummus. I've done this about 10 times. I had to throw it away today because it shed black plastic shavings into the chickpeas. What people have said about water getting stuck in the lid is no joke. It's gross if it happens to you. I figured that out early and just didn't immerse it for cleaning. It's annoying but I lived with it because it did a great job with hummus and that's easy enough to sponge clean. But today the blade broke. You have to make certain the blade is straight up to engage with the motor or the motor will saw off the top of the softer black plastic of the blade. If you miss the correct position, it will fall to the side and the gears on the motor section will eventually cut through. I know I've missed it before but this time it had black plastic sprinkles in the recipe. Size was convenient but I won't be buying a replacement.

Replacing my blender!
This was a gift from my son.. when I saw the price I was shocked! I swear this works so much better than my huge blender. Since I barely use my big blender and when I do it's a pain to clean, I'm getting rid of it. Smoothies with ice, vegetables in soup, it literally does it all while outperforming my ninja.

Immersion BLUNDER
Let me save you the purchase, and return this was a flop. I purchased it specifically for a poblano sauce, for my enchiladas. The poblano‘s were soft. There was chicken stock in the pan and this basically did the same work as swinging around a sock. I had to remove everything put it in a blender and then put it back in the pan, which is not what I wanted to do hence the reason I bought this. Don’t waste your money, o time.

Very disappointing T.hat a critical gear component is plastic and strips out after a number of uses. Changing the main gear to metal would only cost pennies more but would make this blender last 10 times longer. Probably done n purpose to sell more replacement units

Shake chopper lid to release water
I'd like to address the water getting trapped in the lid. I always hand wash the pieces and the. Shake the water out of the chopper lid. Can't complain about it cuz the cost is so low. Seems more of a dollar store item though ... Not high quality at all but it fits with the quality of the world right now. Ha
