submitted byKathy - 5 years agoA: I bought one over the Summer to use at my niece’s house, where I was going to be staying for 3-1/2 weeks. Before I left, my other niece asked to use it at her home for her guests. I easily dismantled most of it. I didn’t break it down all the way because it was going to be immediately reused at my other niece’s home, so we left some of the connections intact. The connections and pieces we did dismantle, were easily reconnected and put together. Hope this helps. Btw, I loved this rack and am buying one for my daughter’s apartment. The rack, especially when the top bars on each end are extended, is huge. (That’s why I loved it. I don’t know the meaning of packing lightly!)

Q: My box did not include instructions. Is there a pdf? I think I figured it all out except where the 4 bolts and 2 washers go. There's a little red bag with the bolts, washers and an allen wrench.

Broke after a few weeks. I had to tape both ends and then the poles came out of the bottom notoriously and would always fall over, the amount of clothes was never close to 50 lbs. The capacity is wrong.

Im guessing this item was returned as "Unopened" which led this item to be resold again. I opened this box with the plastic already ripped up by hand and the manual crinkled up. which led to suspicion. I ignored it and built the product. Once I was towards the end, I found out there were TWO missing critical items that prevented me from completing the build.

I recently moved into a smaller home, and this clothing rack is the perfect solution to hold clothes in lieu of a closet. Despite other reviews stating it’s not sturdy - it IS sturdy as long as it’s assembled properly. I have both racks currently full end to end, and have no issues with swaying or tipping. Obviously, keep the weight on it even, don’t overload one end, and you should have no trouble. Assembly is easy, doesn’t take much time, and the hex key is included, so there are no other tools required. Although it’s tall, my knee-length dresses hang over the lower rack unless I hang the skirt over another hanger. I don’t consider that a complaint, just an observation. The extra length of the extended bars is one of my favorite features, as the bars can be easily extended or collapsed as needed; I use them often to hang bags or accessories, or plan my outfit and hang it there for accessibility. I appreciate the ability to raise and lower the high bar, depending on which items you’re hanging.

It's extremely flimsy!!! I put clothes on both the bottom and top rack and the clothing rack started leaning towards the right. I then decided to put the heavier items on the bottom (ex: hoodie or a jean jacket) and only keep the top with tshirts/lighter items, the clothing rack could barely hold everything up.

I ordered this unit online. It was delivered with a huge tear on the side of the box. Needless to say I was missing 2 major components. I believe Target sent me a returned item. And whomever picked the order had to have seen the tear in the side of the box. But obviously they didn't care.

Beware: this is not stable. It wabbles a bit and it has fallen over twice in the one day I’ve had it. I am using this to dry clothes. Having too much on it makes it more likely to fall over.

It has 2 bars and an extension bar to hang clothes. Very sturdy and moves without any difficulty. I bought 2 if these to hang my wreaths on for transport to my craft show. They can also be adjusted to lower the top bar.
