Identify the finial: This is the decorative piece on the very top of the paper towel holder. 2. Grip the finial: Hold the base or pole of the holder to keep it steady. 3. Twist counter-clockwise: Apply gentle pressure and turn the finial to the left (counter-clockwise) to unscrew it from the pole. 4. Remove the top: Once the finial is loose, the entire top piece should lift off, giving you access to the inside of the holder. 5. Load a new roll: Place a new roll of paper towels onto the pole, making sure the paper feeds over the top or out of the appropriate slot for your model. 6. Replace the top: Carefully place the top back onto the pole, and then screw the finial back on by twisting it clockwise until it is secure. I hope this helps - Emma
A: Omg!!! I found the solution. You have to take a knife and kind of get the putty around the flower off at the seam and then run under hot water and you can twist the flower off.!!!
