This product was my absolUte favorite. But, the new formula is terrible. Does not look or feel the same, and the taste is horrible! It was so bad, i had to throw it away after just one use. Please bring back the old formula in the black tube. Please!!!

Please bring back the old formula sold in the black packaging. It was perfect. People must have loved it; it was regularly sold out at my local store. Also, why can I only type in all caps? I feel like I'm shouting :(

I have been using the Neutrogena revitalizing lip balm ever since I discovered it almost 15 years ago. The formula and packaging has recently changed and it is awful. The flavor and smell make it unusable. It now has a chemical and toxic taste, and the smell, which used to be pleasant and subtle is now very ersatz and caustic. It is now drying on the lips, and no longer provides the soft and gentle moisture that the original formula did. Needless to say, I am gutted, and I can't for the life of me, imagine why it was changed.

It cracked on first use itself. Its messy to use. But good moisturizing for the lips and mildly tinted. No scent. If you ask me if i will purchase again , i would say no. First impression was bad😞

This is one of, if not *the* worst, lip balms I’ve ever tried. The packaging is unappealing, and once you remove the informational wrap, you’re left with a dull black lip balm. The application is blotchy, and after applying it, every crack on my lips becomes visible. It also doesn’t feel moisturizing at all. Definitely not worth the price. For almost double the cost, I recommend the e.l.f. lip balm. Even the Revlon Kiss Balm with SPF applies better than this one.

This was my favorite lip balm for years! The new formula (in different packaging, despite the old incorrect picture) is unusable. It permeates your mouth and tastes like you licked a bottle of suscreen. It's nauseating. If that's not enough, it also dried out my lips. So sad to lose this staple.

They changed it and now it tastes DISGUSTING!!! The old formula in the black container was my absolute favorite and I couldn’t live without it. Then they changed it and they even changed the active ingredients. I can’t stand it and have to wipe it off. It tastes so bad and has a chemical taste to it. Makes you wonder what the heck they put in this new formula. Can’t be good.

I used to LOVE this lip balm, but the 3rd time I purchased it had changed, the taste is so strong & horrible it's unusable. I thought maybe it was a "bad" tube so purchased a 4th time last week and no, they must have changed the formula, the taste (even when barely applying any) is so strong it's like eating sunscreen.

Absolutely terrible reformulation. Have been using this lip balm for a decade and now it tastes terrible and doesn’t match the previous color. Will never be buying this product again unless nutrogena changes it back.

This used to be my favorite tinted lip balm and now that the formula has changed I will not be buying again. I bought two of these lip balm’s because I always like to stock up on them and the minute I put it on I could instantly feel my throat become dry, and I had this disgusting taste in my mouth which has never happened before with the old Formula. They changed the sunscreen that’s on there. They added another one and now it’s disgusting. Please change your formula back.

I can't use it anymore, it's that bad. i love how natural the color is, and the light coverage it provides, but with the addition of the chemical flavor, i can't buy it again. i love neutrogena products and use a lot of them, but i'll be finding new lip balm.

I have been using this lip balm in petal glow for almost 10 years. It has been the only lip balm i've used. it replaced liptsick for me. However, recently i ordered new ones and the packaging changed. I didn't think anything of it until I started to use one today. it is now Fruit scented and has a horrible flavor/after taste. very dissappointed and will have to find a replacement going forward

I never write reviews but feel extremely compelled to write this one. I have been using this chapstick for years and years. It is the only chapstick that keeps my lips hydrated and has a beautiful color. I had no idea Neutrogena changed the formulation until I got the clear tube instead of the black tube. This new chapstick is horrible. It tastes bad, has some sort of fragrance, does not offer the same rich color as the previous formulation, and has made my lips peel and crack. Please for the love of God Neutrogena...change. it. back. OR if you have a stockpile in a warehouse of the old formula reach out to me so I can purchase enough to last me another at least 20 years (maybe 300 tubes?).
