Half the time I buy these, the top slit is off. Like the buns went on the conveyor belt thru the slicer at an angle. You dont always notice because it's not the buns on top. When they are cut right I really like them.

The buns themselves are very good. I like the concept of cutting them from the top but the cutting is very hit or miss. Usually at least 3 of the buns are sliced diagonally or so close to the edge that they aren’t useable. We have used two buns out of the most recent package we bought and one of the two was sliced completely through. What a mess! And it’s always the ones that you can’t see on the bottom of the package that are mis-cut. Having said that we will probably continue to buy them because the concept works for us.

These are some of the best hot dog buns that I’ve ever tried. Even though they are more costly than the average competitors buns, they do have a Hawaiian version as well and I’ll probably wanna try that next. Say goodbye to uneven slices because this top slice bun is super neat and tasty.

Originally, my husband and I loved these! They were our go to, the convenience of just sticking the hotdog on top was so great! But after having a "normal" bun again since we've realized there is quite a bit of extra bread that usually just gets wasted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so glad to have found these! I love love the fact that they are TOP BUN sliced and not like the usual hot dog buns. I enjoyed these with grilled hot dogs but I would absolutely use them for other grilled meats or sandwhiches such as meatball subs. The other reason I love these is the fact that they are like "boats" and your fillings stay inside better than falling out of the side sliced buns. They were also very fresh and I found out later that they actually come in other bread choices (butter, etc). Hope I can always find them as they are a keeper!
