I purchased these to hang curtains underneath a loft bed. They worked perfectly for lightweight curtains. Easy to install with your own screwdriver, not the one they give you.

Curtain Tension Rod

Scratched up my wall in multiple places while trying to keep the rod up. It kept sliding and scratching paint off until it stayed. Looking for a replacement as we speak since it’s bending at the middle with less than 5 pound curtains.

Very awkward to install, the screw will not hold. The rubber feet at the end also wear out very easily.

I did not like these curtain tension rods as they were very difficult to install since you had to use 🪛 screwdriver to open and lock in rod. I almost fell off stepladder trying to install, I do not recommend them at all .

For how cheap it is it works perfectly. I would make sure to measure the space and then have the rod be that length plus 1 inch to be able to fit and be put in correctly. It holds up my curtains perfectly, and I’m using it in front of my closet because it doesn’t have doors. There is a spring and a screw on the back that is able to move, you will need a screwdriver to move it and have it be kept in the desired spot. But can’t beat a 6 foot rod for $7 that requires one tool.

Tried using this for curtains in our bedroom. It doesn’t even stay up. We tried adjusting the spring multiple times like the instructions indicated but it just turns and falls down immediately

The spring isn't springy ?? When I tried to move the curtain aside the rod popped out from the window cus the spring is terrible. It's also a pain to install just get a normal twisty tension rod

These might do in a pinch but rough spots on the back will quickly destroy your pocket curtain.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Absolutely horrible product. The rubber on the ends is so thin it will rip and tear your shelf up. DO NOT BUY!

it works perfectly fine with my eclipse blackout curtains. the trick is you have to make it bigger than the actual window panel. then when you put it you squeeze the ends to it stays in place. hence thats why it has the spring. if you screw it at the exact size of the window panel is going to fall. i left two inches bigger than the actual window panel then when i put it on the window i squeze the rod to make it fit the panels and it stay perfectly thight in place
