Q: does anyone know if this can fit a 30lb bag of dog food inside it?

A: We have 2 and love them for our bathrooms. I would be concerned about the weight. Bathroom trash is not very heavy. The liner might not be durable enough for 30 lbs of dog food.

submitted bysimplehuman - 7 years agoBrand expertA: No, it doesn’t. I use a 3 gallons liners. It’s a small can. There’s no way it would fit 30 gallons of dog food. Hope that helps. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the stainless steel finish gets stains easily as it stands next to the toilet. Really hard to clean. Windex doesn’t do the job. I have to purchase a special spray for that.

This is a nice trash can for all of the reasons others mention in their reviews. However, it's a constant source of frustration for me because my dog is able to lift the lid and get into the trash. My sister's dog did the same thing. So if you don't have a dog, then this is the trash can for you!

My full size Simple Human can is perfect. This one is difficult. The bags are hard to fit in the plastic liner. It’s hard to get it all lined up. It’s not quiet close.

I got this barrel to place next to my kitchen trash barrel for recycles. In my town we need to separate recycles so a smaller barrel like this is easier to sort through though I need to clear it daily or more often. I considered the smaller one that attaches to the larger barrel but it was just too small for recycles. I also have the same barrel for a bathroom. These are neat and good looking
