A: Not that I know of? Been used to store charity items that are stored for a year or more. Alot are out in our storage shed so I know they are fine in the heat and cold.

The materials used for our products are polypropylene or polyethylene plastic. If you check with your local fire department, they may be able to give you a rating on this material.

A: They weigh about 3pnds without the lid. But i think you would be able to carry 2 comfortable on the bus if you put the lids inside. I carried 5 stacked and they were not too heavy.

Our products have not been specifically tested for various weight potential, and we suggest consumers not overload them or stack more than three high. This could cause distortion or eventual damage. When storing items away, use good judgment and be mindful of the weight in each tote and place the heaviest tote on the bottom.
