Q: Is this the same product as Tilex Mildew Root Penetrator with a new name?
A: Great question, and thanks for linking up with us. While both products are similar, our Tilex Mildew Root Penetrator contains a unique phase transfer technology that allows it to penetrate and attack mildew roots. In addition, the bottle has a foaming trigger. As the formula foams better than Mold & Mildew Remover. We hope this was helpful. If you have any further questions, please reach out to us at 800-227-1860 and provide reference number 210524-000708. Thanks again. Alexandrea from The Clorox Team

Q: Will this corrode metal?
A: Hi there, Nate. Thanks for reaching out. While our Tilex Mold and Mildew Remover is able to be used on various hard, non-porous surfaces, we'd have to recommend testing the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous part of the metal you're trying to clean. If the cleaner can be left applied for over five minutes without discoloration, it can be considered safe for use. Thanks again. Jack from the Clorox team
