Q: Does the sliding mechanism under the table have a means of "locking" to prevent the legs from folding back up when moved around?

A: Yes, there is a stiff wire that hooks into a hole that keeps it locked.

Website is inaccurate. I thought I purchased 2 TV trays but when I picked up the order there were 2 boxes. When I got home and opened the box there were 4 trays in each box. Had to go back to Target and return one box as I only needed 2 trays. Kept the other box and will give away the 2 trays I don’t need. Website needs to say there are 4 trays in a box. Not sold as individual trays.

Just another product with a cancer label and says it exposes you to Nikel. This is suppose to be a product to use with food and possibly children! I ended up using it in the laundry room for my laundry detergent bottles instead. Don’t buy!
