Q: The dimensions you have listed are different than the one on the Ubbi website. The dimensions on the Ubbi website are 8.4"W x 19.5" H x 11.4" D. Is this measured differently if there is only one size?

A: Thanks for your inquiry about the Ubbi diaper pail! The Ubbi diaper pail can be used with either cloth or disposable diapers. Please do note that one of the primary benefits (besides the odor-locking steel) is that our pail doesn’t use any special bags, refills, or inserts. Therefore, you can use any tall kitchen garbage bags. While we sell our own bags, they are a plus – not a must. We also sell a cloth liner that can be used with our pail, but any cloth liner can be used. To note, when using a cloth liner leave the sliding lid slightly ajar as to allow for airflow into the pail, to prevent condensation build up. A: The Ubbi diaper pail can definitely be used with cloth diapers and a cloth liner. Cloth diapers can create moisture inside the pail so we recommend that you leave the sliding lid slightly ajar for airflow. Cloth diapers do not give off as much odor as disposable, so cracking the lid shouldn’t change the way the pail locks in the odors. We added this to our registry and we're so glad we did! The smell is well contained and not having to buy special bags is a plus. The only downfall is that I wish it was taller. My husband and I are both over 6ft, so having to bend down so far can be a pain

I received this diaper pail from my registry and was originally pleased with its size and aesthetic. However, as time has gone on, the diaper pail has started to REEK. Every time we open it the room fills with the scent of old poop. We tried to deep clean all of the parts with bleach etc, and discovered that the main issue is that the plastic seal takes on the smell of the diapers…permanently. My son is 15 months now but we’ve been dealing with this issue for at least the last 6. This product is not made to last. Don’t waste your money.

Pail is easy to open and close, has plenty of space for used diapers and keeps the smell contained so far. We love this trash in our nursery. My only gripe is that sometimes it is hard to get the garbage bag out. Works with regular trash bags to save you money instead of requiring a proprietary bag.

Would HIGHLY advise you do not buy this diaper pail. If you put more than 15-20 diapers in it the bags will vacuum seal into the pail and is impossible to remove without destroying the bag. They also say you can use any 13 gallon bags in it. Well by the time a 13 gallon bag is full enough to take out it has permanently adhered itself to the inside. So you take them out earlier and the bag is only 1/4 full which means you’re going through bags nearly daily. 8 gallon bags work better but are still only half full when you throw them away. After a couple days of ripped bags I resorted to drilling a hole in the bottom to break the vacuum but that means it smells. Overall, horrible design and any diaper pail would work better than this. The only reason any sane person would buy this or recommend it is because it looks cute. But function is more important than fashion and this thing don’t function.

The pail is designed to hold much more than 15-20 diapers without any issues. We do recommend 13-gallon bags in order to get the most optimal function, but they should be just as easy to remove as they are to load. I ended up buying this pail on sale during the baby sale, and it was the best decision. I am 6 days postpartum and not only do I use this for my baby's diapers, but I also use it for my postpartum pads which is nice because it contains all of it in one place and there is absolutely no smell. The really nice feature is you can use a regular trash bag and do not have to spend money on special bags, which is what sold us initially. Definitely holds a lot so you can stuff that bad boy up.

Pros: 1.) Holds lots of dirty diapers 2.) No special bags required 3.) It locks Cons: 1.) Height- Its smaller than I realized and my toddler easily knocks it over, causing the top to pop open and diapers (not to mention the smell) to spill out 2.) Does not fully contain smell- whenever I walk past this, I smell the stink permeating from it. I often have to double check its completely closed and locked. 3.) The pail itself absorbs the smell, contrary to what is advertised. It says to not use any cleaners but a simple warm water wipe down does not get the smell out. I bought this based off all the reviews however this does not meet our needs and we will be going back to the diaper genie pail. 4.)

Idk how this has so many good reviews! It does not keep the odors out. It’s horrible. And it’s very short and small. The only redeeming quality is that you don’t have to use specific bags but we returned it. Going back to the munchkin one.

Now, if the odor is inside the pail only, Ubbi does offer a few ways to keep the smell at bay, including but not limited to, diaper sacks and odor absorbing gels. Although the pail is 19.5 inches in height, if loaded with any 13-gallon kitchen bag can hold up to 55 newborn diapers. We hope that you will give us a second chance. We've used the Pail for 2 years when the lid snapped. After contacting their service department they took great lengths to ensure the honesty of my request. In the world we live in today with people taking advantage of companies I actually appreciated that they value their products enough to ensure quality control of people truly having an issue. They did replace our pail and I am so grateful because it honestly keeps ALLLLLL smells out of our house. This pail is a true smell catcher and I will forever gift to other people from their registries.

Absolutely love our Ubbi diaper pale. We love that it can be used with regular trash bags and it holds in the stink sooo well. We had a small piece break and the customer service team immediately sent a replacement with no questions asked. We are so happy with this baby item! It’s a must on your registry!

WE HAVE BEEN USING UBBI SINCE 2021 WE LOVE OURS. MY SISTER HAD TWINS IN 2014 AND THEY USED A PLASTIC PALE. THEY HAD TO KEEP OUTSIDE SINCE IT SMELLED SO BAD. WE WERE ABLE TO KEEP OURS NEXT TO OUR BABY'S CRIB. WE DID GET A SMELL WHEN OPENED,OBVIOUSLY.. BUT WHEN CLOSED IT KEPT THE ODORS IN. THEY ALSO HAVE BAGS THAT DECREASE SMELL AS WELL AND GEL PACKS TO ABSORB MORE ODOR. IT IS ALSO MODERN AND DOESNT TAKE UP A LARGE AMOUNT OF SPACE.

There are tons of diaper bins out there. After doing research and going to tons of stores to check out bins, we found that Ubbi's bin was a well constructed bin made of mostly metal to not hold onto undesirable odors. A big plus was our ability to use our own trash bags and not have to buy expensive proprietary bags.

we bought ubbi and what a waste of money it stinks even after soaking in tub with order neutralizers don't waste your money! customer service was def not helpful about the hong breaking ! used less then a year got second one it broke after 9 months bad design! or defective
