Q: Why are the buff sponges so much thinner and softer than the previous ones? They aren't as good at exfoliating and cleaning as the older sponges. The price went up and the quality went down. I don't mind paying more, but why change a good thing?

A: SMALLER THAN A COMPACT BUT LARGE ENOUGH TO GENTLY BUFF OFF DEAD DRY SKIN CELLS, NEEDING TO BE EXFOLIATED. SOFT AS A CLOUD. I'M IN LOVE BUT OLE TARGET DISCONTINUING THEM!

These used to be a five star item for me. Great to use with my favorite face wash to exfoliate and clean. One sponge would last about a week. Now they have changed them and they are much softer with less exfoliating and disintegrate quickly. Disappointing Please bring back the old design!

It used to be slightly exfoliating, which I loved. I’ve used half a bag of them and was hoping I just got a bag from a bad batch, but judging from the other reviews that doesn’t seem to be the case. They used to be slightly exfoliating, which I loved because it made my face feel so clean. Now that they’ve changed, I’m going to have to look for something else. Totally bummed.🙁Please go back to the old way again!

I used to love these little face buffs. But they have recently changed. They are thinner and not as exfoliating. I’m so sick of all these products increasing in price but the quality and/or quantity is decreasing. I used to recommend this product I won’t as long as this new version keeps being produced. Target since you make these, please make them the way you used to.

Personally i LOVE THE NEW ONES. I have very sensitive skin and these worked great for me. It feels super soft on the skin and I’ve been using them for a while now. I’ve been using these for years now and honestly like this new batch more than the old ones.

BRING THE OLD VERSION BACK!!!!! The new ones are literally two flat cotton balls stuck together. They provide 0 form of exfoliation- I could rub these on a newborn and the newborn would laugh in my face. But in all seriousness, I have one more of the original buffs (the one in my palm) and they’re great at exfoliating I’ll use it until the die (because that’s how durable they are). Target please bring back the original buffs. They clearly have a very loyal fanbase. Like swiftie level loyal.

Like others have stated, this product is nothing like the original. I used them for many years and loved them, but this new product does not exfoliate and only lasts for one wash. I thought it was my imagination or that I bought a bad batch, but the reviews confirmed that I am not alone in my opinion of these. They are useless.

I have been purchasing/ using these facial buffs as part of my facial cleansing routine for over 10 years and all of a sudden went to replenish them and to my surprise they are no longer buffs. I can't call them buffs because there is no buff in them. They are now more cloth like and fall apart after one use. Such poor quality. I am so disappointed in what Target did to their brand. I will now be looking for alternatives. I hope that Target takes these comments seriously and can go back to providing their customer with a quality product.

I’ve been using this facial buffing pad for years and loved it for its quality and effectiveness. Unfortunately, the recent changes are incredibly disappointing. The pad is now flimsy, poorly made, and doesn’t exfoliate like it used to. It feels cheap and ineffective compared to the reliable product it once was. I won’t be repurchasing unless the quality improves.
