It’s nice looking but low quality wood and construction is not very sturdy. I put this together with help and followed all instructions on assembly, tightening all screws as well as I could using decent tools, and it still feels wobbly. It also creaks and makes noises when there’s movement in it, the slats feel like they might even give/break, and it scratches very easily. Wouldn’t purchase again. Might work as a guest bed that doesn’t get much use and you are buying for the design, but I wouldn’t recommend as primary bed.

Buy at your own risk, everything i read about this bed was correct. We receive one screw with no thread, missing the round wood covers for the screw holes, chipped wood, the middle bar is a very thin piece of wood, i does not seem as it will hold for very long (we bought a ticker piece of wood), the bed is walnut color that has a shine to it, looks good but somehow cheap. if you are willing to go to the hardware store and complete all the pieces missing and buy reinforcement for the bed, then go ahead and buy.

This is a nice frame and a good price, especially compared to furniture store prices. We did add extra slats to make it a solid bottom for our Purple mattress, but not because it necessarily needed it, just because the mattress warranty requires less gap than this bed has.

I was really looking forward to receiving this bed since it's a nice classic style that would go well with our existing disparate bedroom furniture, but when we opened the box (it had to be delivered - wasn't available in stores) we discovered multiple deep gouges in the wood on the headboard and scratches all over the footboard. Plus the footboard wasn't properly nailed together - two long pieces were barely attached to each other and a nail was jutting out (which must have been the cause of the scratching). We're really dissapointed since this bed was otherwise nice and in our budget. Sending it back for a refund...

We were very excited about the price and simple design of this bed. But just past the exchange date (of course), one of the legs of the bed is already cracked/separating from the frame. (with no mis-use. and in fact, very light use.) This is incredibly disappointing. It is NOT solid wood by any means. It is not worth purchasing. I would also note that the finish is very high gloss. So it makes the frame look cheap. I was willing to overlook that as I needed the bed, but now that it is cracking, I am upset. To make matters worse, we bought 2 of these bed. So I am now waiting for the other one to break.

I like this bed. I've had it for a few months now and think it is a nice addition to my room. Very simple and clean. My spouse assembled it, and he said he had some difficulty with it and had to use the hand drill.

The first bed arrived without slats and the entire item had to be returned which was a hassle and completely unnecessary as the slats arrived in a separate box. The second bed had a few dings in the finish that were not in the first, unfortunately. One assembled, it's a nice bed for the price. The finish is kind of shiny and the "walnut"color looks cheaper and like a less rich brown in person.
