It's extremely itchy and uncomfortable if you place this on human skin, and I bet it would be the same on a pet. ALWAYS test things like this BEFORE you put them on an animal.

I purchased this for my cockapoo in a medium and it fits him great. Luckily I don’t have an issue with him trying to scratch off the collar so I can’t comment on the shedding others have experienced. Other than that, it seems to be holding up very well. He has had it on for a week with no issues or loss of quality.

BEWARE. Absolutely awful collar! Just like previous poster the collar shrunk up on my puppy within 1 day and he was noticeably distressed by it! Had we not been around it could of ended up much worse.

Size large isn’t a large, it says 16-26 inches, fully extended it is 14 inches. Very annoying to have to go through the hassle of a return when they lie on the packaging
