Crest 3D White Advanced Charcoal Teeth Whitening Toothpaste

love the charcoal in the toothpaste, helps with really cleaning and brightening teeth.

I've used charcoal toothpaste in the past and loved it. after using this toothpaste once, my gums, my tongue, the inside of my mouth was covered in sores. I read through other reviews and noticed other people have had this same issue. never had this problem with my other toothpaste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was very nice and I liked the taste however the charcoal got everywhere. It was really messy. I liked how it made my teeth look and it smelled good.

My question, is Crest 3d white with charcoal safe for use with dentures? Has it been tested?

My daughter has been using this toothpaste exclusively for a while now, and we’ve been alarmed to discover that her teeth are becoming stained. Instead of whitening, this toothpaste is causing yellow/brown staining. She’s not a coffee drinker, not a smoker and takes impeccable care of her teeth.

Can’t remember how many years I’ve been using Crest’s CharcoalToothpaste (maybe since 2019?). The first time, I was skeptical of black toothpaste whitening my teeth. The whitening part works ok, but the primary reason for sticking to this brand is keeping tonsil stones away! Within the first week, I was spitting out stones I didn’t know I had. If I take a break from using it, and use a different brand, or non-charcoal product, the stones reappear (a few months later). Thank you, P&G! Sincerely!!

Helps whiten quickly, nothing dramatic but does help some

I have used a charcoal toothpaste for years off of Amazon but had run out and was in Target and saw this and figured I would give it a whirl vs waiting on a delivery. When I opened the box that wasn't sealed it gave me pause to see that also the tube of toothpaste wasn't sealed but I used it anyway. I did not care for the fact that the product has no saftey seal. Also unlike what I normally use which is a thick black paste this was a grey and white swirl color. Fast forward a week later...one side of my tongue started to hurt. I thought it was maybe was from some acidic food I had eaten. Fast forward another week and I took myself to the DR thinking I had strep throat or covid tongue. I tested negative for both. They told me they could see irritation but it could be allergies. They said they'd call in an antibiotic incase it didn't go away. Last night as I lay in bed unable to sleep bc it hurt to swallow bc my tongue was so swollen, frustrated with my current condition, I started to think back on anything I had changed in the last few weeks. The only thing I had changed was my toothpaste. I went to look at reviews and....imagine...lots of people talking about mouth ulcers and swollen tongues...feeling like they had swallowed acid. I sent what I had found to my sister cross country in the middle of the night...bc she too had been miserable with a swollen tongue. She had sworn to me we both had Covid tongue. When she woke up the next day to read my texts...she said OMG I just started using the same toothpaste a few weeks ago. And she immediately threw it in the trash can. Beware. I can't explain how miserable this stuff made me feel.

This actually made my teeth yellow. If you’ve ever used charcoal you know that a little goes a long way. The toothpaste isn’t even dark. I may have to return toothpaste for the first time in my life lol. Luckily I have a small amount of the crest pro health whitening intensive clean toothpaste left. I followed it to with that and it removed the stains. My mouth feels way cleaner too

Seldom write reviews but Adv. Charcoal not only removed stain but made my smile dazzling. Unsure when I first bought but the results convinced me. Try it, Hope your results are good as mine.

I just switched to this toothpaste after using a different charcoal toothpaste, but this one caused me to get multiple painful canker sores, likely due to some of the inactive ingredients. Unfortunately, I am going to have to throw this away and get different toothpaste.

I used this toothpaste for a long time. I really liked how it made my mouth feel clean. It was a very strong mint flavor though. It seemed to last until I ate or drank something strong. I bought it a tube at a time at first and was very happy when they started making it in a 2 pack. It is a great value and cuts down on packaging!
