3" Performance Memory Foam Mattress Topper - Threshold

Got this for my college twin XL to add some comfort. Mattress topper came shipped in what appeared to be cling wrap and had orangey stains on it - didn’t think much of it, but was a little odd for a brand new item. Added padding to bed, which was nice, but gives me the same feeling of what I imagine to being baked in a pre-heating oven. NOT COOLING! I typically sleep with the covers up around my neck. Can’t do that with this pad because it makes me so uncomfortably warm. I hate that I will have to somehow shrink it down to return it, which is the only reason I have hesitated to do so.

I ended up using this topper on my camper mattress. It made such a major difference. I couldn’t get any rest on the other mattress and it was new. This mattress topper fixed that issue and for my husband to. It’s soft and your body just conforms to it. Very nice material and well made. I keep a sheet on it. It’s hard to move if it scoots around, which I don’t really have that problem often.

I have purchased two of these in the past year. The first time, I received the item in a box (the original packaging). The second time, my most recent purchase, they sent it to me shrink wrapped and it's slightly stained? And then I see I am not the only one who has received it this way per the several reviews left on this item. My first purchase was great! But the second one......why would they send it to me like if it was a returned item? That is why I am giving it 3 stars. It is a good topper but I would like it for it to be packaged better which Target is capable of doing but chose not to.

Very firm, yet comfortable.

This mattress topper is as hard as a rock! IT IS NOT MEMORY FOAM and looks nothing like the item posted in the video. Target wants me to return it thru shipping, there’s no way to get it in a box, much less in my car, since it was compressed and shrink wrapped when sent to me. DO NOT BUY THIS !!!!!! A waste of my money!

It is too soft and ended up hurting my back.

Not sure how Target thinks this is okay, especially for bedding. This is clearly a return and was recieved in plastic wrap, with no label of what it was. I don't feel comfortable going to the store to try and return. Complete unsanitary and not okay. This looks like it should have been on clearance.

This is an extremely comfortable addition to my rock hard mattress! It was also a great value. I compared this pad to other more expensive models and would not trade it.

If you're a fan of memory foam, this topper will probably work well for you. I got this to put on top of an extra firm dorm mattress. Downsides: not quite as good as my Casper mattress at home, but I'm not waking up with a sore back anymore. I'm short so this doesn't bother me so much, but it's also several inches shorter than the mattress, I think it doesn't quite have the length it says it does. I'm short so this was ok but it wasn't as described (I think, I do not have a tape measure so I can't say for sure). I'm subtracting points for quality because of that.

Arrived in a shipping box with no packaging, just wrapped in cellophane--not "memory foam" just cheap poly. Think the egg-crate stuff without the stippling.

This mattress topper is 3 inches of pure bliss. It adds a level of comfort like playing on a cloud for our bed. The topper was simple to roll out, let sit for 2 days to teach its 3 inch thickness, then we set it up on our bed. We won't up with no aches or pains, also slept the whole night through. The topper is breathable, comfortable, easy to set up, no smell to it, we are pleased with it. Its well made and no doubt will last us a long time.

This memory foam padding is very thick and good quality. I am using this on my bed, it helps since my mattress is not in great condition. I highly recommend if you need extra padding.I did cut it down to a full size.

This mMemory Foam Mattress Topper is great, but not made for my mattress. It is very comfortable, soft, firm and supportive. My mattress already has a built-in topper so the added height makes the bed ridiculously tall. This also makes it difficult to put a mattress pad on the bed, as then the sheets won’t fit. If I had a lower mattress, it would probably be great.

This 3" memory foam mattress topper arrived wrapped as a compressed roll inside a box. All it took was unrolling to plastic and laying on my bed to let the memory foam expand, which took a couple hours. The topper is a light beige with orange/brown flecks throughout. The topper is breathable, although it doesn't feel cooling nor does it feel hot. The topper is slightly smaller than the mattress and it is a perfect fit under my mattress cover. This memory foam seems a little softer than other memory foam toppers I have used in the past and body weight seems to almost flatten the topper. This provides average comfort but falls a little short of the comfort level I was seeking to revive my mattress.

So comfy and at a great price value! Just what I needed!

This made my bed so comfy. I have had some great nights sleep with it! It was easy to put it on my bed. I did let it sit after unpacked it so it could puff up and lay flat. I love how soft it is. Not too soft but just right.

We were searching for something to lend our mattress a little more longevity before we invest in a new one. This mattress topper, while being nice and thick and fitting the bed properly (without incurring any fitted sheet frustrations) is far too soft for our preference. The topper swallows us, and indents of our bodies remain permanently pressed. Our backs were sore the first few nights we used this but now seem to have adjusted, though I’m not sure now much longer we will keep it on. If soft and contoured is your preference this might be for you.

I've slept on this for a few days now and all I can say is WOW. I was previously using a very old and outlived foam topper that unfortunately had shaped to my body too much that it no longer went back to its original form. It was time I needed a new one. I really like the speckled glitter design of the mattress topper (pic included) even though it doesn't matter too much when it gets covered up by sheets. I feel like 3 inches is the perfect amount of thickness to make a difference in the comfort of your sleep. The Performance Memory Foam Mattress Topper sinks comfortably and forms to the body. I'm a boney person in general and need cushion to give me a restful night. It sinks with my hips and hugs the rest of my body perfectly that makes it feel like it was customized just for me. It has already improved my sleep and has lessoned the stiffness of my body that I used to wake up with. I've already recommended this to my family members!
