I LOVE this shampoo! I admit, I got quite a few days in between washing sometimes. This gets all the dry shampoo, and other styling products out of my hair — without leaving it overly dry or stripped. It's a must buy.

I've live on a well so I have hard water. I'd been having an issue with greasy roots that didn't ever seem to get clean. I used this shampoo once and my hair is soooo clean feeling with no greasy feeling. Even 3 days later. I highly recommend.

I have fine, colored asian hair. I also have scalp psoriasis. This shampoo leaves my head feeling nice and clean and usually even calms the itchiness I get from my psoriasis! I love that it doesn't dry my scalp out, I've purchased 2 jumbo bottles already!

5 stars is not enough! I’m in my early 50’s and hormones drastically changed my hair! My hair was FINE after coloring always, last color was June 1 2023, and by May 2024 my hair turned into straw. If I tried any heat styling, it literally turned my hair into a stuck almost solid plastic feeling sheet. I couldn’t comb/brush/finger-style it out! I started using this restore line, and the results are incredible!! My hair is super soft again, can be heat styled, and looks and feels so much healthier! I use nothing but Living Proof products now, and now my daughter uses it too as she’s a constant platinum color blonde girl and all that bleaching was starting to ruin her hair!! Now, her hair is doing great again, even with consistent coloring!

Finally found my grail shampoo, after two purchases I committed to the giant size which honestly barely fits on the little shelf in my shower. I have naturally golden, wavy hair and this pulls out all the buildup while keeping my hair feeling like my hair and not dead or limp.

This helps give my hair a deep clean without over drying. I always use a deep conditioner after and it keeps my hair and scalp feeling refreshed. I also never was able to skip a hair wash day and with this addition in my hair care once weekly, I only have to wash my hair every other day and it's healthier than ever!

Doesn't lather or clean well

I have bought so many shampoos and nothing would help with my oily hair i would wash my hair and by next day it was oily until I found this detox shampoo it did wonders my hair feels so clean I wash my hair and I don't wake up with oily. It looks and feels clean. Love it. I really recommend this product.

My daughter has natural oily hair and we have tried so many products but this!!! Not only does it make your hair feel like its never been cleaner but also gave her the confidence she needed!

I am an annual member of FabFitFun and this was one of the choices for the 2025 Spring Box. I NORMALLY don't get any hair products in them, but I chose this one this time and SO glad I did. My hair was really damaged, due to some health issues, three major surgeries and radiation, which all just drains our hair, my long beautiful hair was broken, split, and not growing, I had it cut and it was so slow and still limp and dull. I got my box last friday, the 14th, and I couldn't wait to try it, WELL! on the FIRST shampoo, the difference was CLEAR. My hair had life, it was smooth and it had body to it. I was impressed, well, today I used it again, and still delighted with it's results.

I absolutely love this product and have made it a key part of my weekly routine (1x per week). After just one wash, I notice a noticeable difference—my hair feels cleaner, lighter, and refreshed, with no dryness. It effectively removes product buildup without stripping my hair, and my hair stays cleaner much longer between washes. I've noticed that my Living Proof dry shampoo works even better after using this. I can honestly say, my hair feels healthier, and this weekly "reset" has made a huge difference in the overall look and feel of my hair. It's definitely become an essential step in my hair care routine!

As a Hairstylist I run into issues with hard water and product buildup on the daily. I have had blondes ask me if I used a toner on them because it removes so much dullness and buildup truly revealing a brighter blonde. I can no longer live without this!

I can never get enough of this shampoo! It has seriously made my hair feel so clean even after multiple days of sweaty workouts and lots of dry shampoo. It is like a scalp refresh every time I use it and I always look forward to it!

I have type 4 curls abd coils. This leaves the hair smelling so fresh. I'm new to this brand and I appreciate the formula so much!!! The number of surfactants, charcoal powder, magnetic polymer, and lack of oil makes this very clarifying. I know how and when to use it so I have no complaints and hope the company never retires this formula.

I love this shampoo. I try to use it once a week in place of my normal shampoo to really clean my hair when it's super greasy. It smells great and feels like it works really well. I just wish there was a matching conditioner!

I've used a few different types of clarifying shampoos, mainly professional brands. I liked them but wasnt fond of how my hair felt like straw after rinsing the shampoo out and needing a deep conditioner right after. With the Living Proof Clarifying Detox shampoo, my hair doesn't feel stripped of everything. It feels very clean, like all the build up from the various products I use has been washed away. My personal preference is to use this once a week. When I do use it, I like to wash my hair with my day to day shampoo first, rinse, then use this product. I feel like the first wash gets some of the surface level dirt out, leaving the deep work to the second wash with the clarifying detox shampoo. Don't let the black color deter you from using this either. I've used it after going blonde (from a medium to dark brown hair color) and with my platinum blonde extensions in. At no point did this shampoo comprise my color. That's a big deal to me.

Gets 3 starts because the pump doesn't work in the jumbo size. Also have problems with the pump on the LP root lifter. Get it together LP, we pay a lot of money for your product. Make your pumps better.

As I age, I am losing a lot of hair. I oil my hair before showering. This shampoo takes out the oiliness and cleans the scalp and hair very nicely. I recommend purchasing.

I love all living proof products, but this clarifying detox shampoo is one of my favorites! It cleans my hair so well and the price is pretty negotiable!

I learned about Living Proof when my hair dresser was washing my hair and I noticed how good it smelled. After she told me it was called Living Proof, I decided to look into their products. This is my first time purchasing their products so I tried a few different things, including this shampoo. I was surprised at how clean this made my hair feel and how good it smells as well, even my boyfriend noticed it! Definitely recommend this shampoo, especially if you have oily hair like me.
