I have used MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation for over 10 years and I'm in love!

Cakey, oily, chalky, settles in all lines and sinks into all pores, transfers onto everything, greasy separation all over the face, does NOT last, less coverage…..just a terrible foundation.

Terrible new formula. It's very disappointing and frustrating that they got rid of the original. I will not be buying foundation from Mac any longer. At this point a drug store foundation will be significantly better.

It's a terrible thing Mac did by changing the original formula. This new Studio Fix is awful. It doesn't have the same coverage as the original did, it feels dry with an under layer of grease that will not stop regardless of how much powder I use, and it gets super cakey! All my pores and fine lines stood out because this foundation looked like powdery sand on my face. I will be returning the bottle and searching for a different foundation from another brand.

The old formula was good for combo skin I had to return the stock I had bought this was so dry and cakey. I understand people need matte but not everyone. So sad I will not buy MAC anymore

I had never tried a MAC foundation before and had heard many good things so I had high hopes for this product. However, it smelled like paint (which I could overlook if the product was good) and seemed a tad streaky, did not control my oil at all (I had to blot around 3 hours after application), and broke down on my oily skin. Debating on returning it or trying to find a way to make it work because I want to love it.

Honestly, i wanted to love it but it just disappointed me. I went into the store looking for a foundation that wouldnt crease and cake but that will also last enough. (I am attending an event and wanted it for that) Ive been using it the last two days and being optimistic about it, but it is not it for or at least not compatible with my skin. I have combination skin so my nose area gets really oily and my cheeks tend to be more on the dry side. I used this foundation for my part-time job to try it out and it wouldnt even last that. I would end up with parts of it gone like if i had missed a spot. My nose got extremely oily and my forhead shinny. I would definitely return to find a better option.

I got this one on sale. I tried different shades in store and finally found the shade that matches perfectly with my neck. #KEEPER!

I got this foundation on sale. I have used Clinique and Urban Decay for years but I was needing something different for my aging skin. It applied smooth and light feeling and I could build coverage to suit my needs. It also stayed perfectly all day without needing touching up and stood up to the wind and outdoor conditions. Didn't feel nasty and gross at all. I will be getting this again!

Really good color match and coverage. Wore it all day and did not get oily or greasy.

Being someone who deals with having an oily T zone by the EOD, this is the one foundation that helps with it.

Not good, it's terrible actually. The OG foundation has been ruined. I will not wear it again, the way it caked up, made my otherwise normal skin greasy after wearing it for a couple of hours, and how I looked somehow older because it settled on wrinkles I didn't see before! Any texture on my skin was magnified and it made my skin break out. I recommend not spending your money on this, you will be truly frustrated trying to get it to look good and end up very disappointed.

This is by far the best foundation I have ever worn. You can't even tell your wearing makeup if you get the right color match for your skin if you want to go with a natural look. However, when I go all out too you can't tell I have makeup up unless you know me. Hands down the best foundation I've ever tried and I always keep an extra unopened box of it in case for some reason I can't find it. Or if it goes on sale for 50% off like it does a few times a year just to stock up on it because I never want to be without it. And for me to take the time to even do this review say something because I never do reviews. lol

The original formula was the best, why change it? The new formula is definitely not for oily/ combination skin. I have some oil that comes through in my t-zone, it's never been a problem with any other foundations. With this foundation, my t-zone and entire face become extremely oily and cakey! The way it looks after an hour or so after application is actually embarrassing. Never again will I wear this awful foundation.

I had been using the original formula MAC in NC 50 for 25 yesrs and the color and formula in the new formula is not the same. I truly miss the original formula. Is there any way to purchase the original formula? Please bring it back!

This new formula is garbage. A gritty, oily, settles in all your pores and lines, chalky, cakey, doesn't stay on, separates all over your face, transfers everywhere, and did I mention cakey? Garbage.

Daily foundation, good color tone, fine coverage, good ingredients, smooth application.
