I chose this rug for our family room/playroom. It gets a lot of traffic - kids, the dog, a couple of cats - they are all over it all day & evening. The rich colors & beautiful pattern help to hide the ugly truths of a busy household - spots clean up beautifully with just a damp rag. Dog & cat hair release easily with a regular vacuuming (Our last rug you had to literally pluck pet hair out by hand - the vacuum was useless). I'm just loving this new rug, every time I walk through the room I admire how beautiful it is. The colors are shown accurately - a huge relief as I was matching it to the upholstery & curtains already in the room. Overall I give the rug a solid 5 star rating - go ahead, you will love!
