Made two boxes at the same time and it was so salty we throw it away after a couple of bits. Have never had this problem in the past. Maybe it was a bad batch?

I've always bought and loved this rice, for years. But the last batch I bought has been extremely salty and dark colored. Completely off from it's usual flavor. I had 3 boxes and they were each the same result. Very disappointing.

This is my boyfriends favorite rice. I hate that if you cook it too much it will turn brown. This is more of a water rice than leaving it on the skilled to wait for it to get cooked.

This rice is soooo good! Am very happy! I didn't have butter so I added olive oil. Tastes great! It has a SLIGHT spicey flavor! The rice ends up fluffy and FULL of flavor! I had never heard of this brand but am happy I gave it a try! Beats the other rices! This will always be in my shelf!

I use the yellow rice for a quick week night dinner. Throw some chicken breast in the crockpot, chopped onion on top with however much cream of chicken soup I want. Cook on high 3-4 hours or low 7ish hours. Once done mix in your prepared yellow rice, a can of drained southwest corn and some cheddar or taco cheese. Never any leftovers.

I used to make Zatarain's Red Beans regularly. It's been awhile. Tried the yellow rice..it was awful...lack of flavor and very mushy rice... won't get that again. And I did not over cook it.
