Q: Is this protector a full slip case? Does it have six sided protection?

A: I don’t believe you answered the question completely. To restate: 6 sides would be 1top, 1bottom, 4 sides and I believe that this question is ALSO asking about protection. IN your response you stated that this “5 sided protector” fits like a sheet makes it pretty clear that there are 4 sides and a top. Now about the protection? Are all sides waterproof or only the top?

This is the first mattress protector we've bought from allerease. I've heard it is a good brand but this specific protector makes us sweat so much. I've never had this issue before with other protectors. It's runs hot and causes excessive sweating which is not safe for little ones who already run warm at night. The topping is also plushy so not safe for any infants to sleep on either. It seems the only good reviews for this item come from people who received the item for free.

Lots of little black specs everywhere. At first I thought it was part of the look because it was everywhere, but then I dragged my nail across one of them and it spread. So gross. Returning.

This is not fully waterproof. The sides aren’t covered in waterproof anything it’s simply a thin material to help keep the slim/narrow top pad in place. Already had to instances where liquid made its way to the edges causing a stain on the mattress, exactly what I was trying to avoid and why I purchased in the first place, big fail. Gave it two stars because the feel of the pad didn’t feel uncomfortable.

This got lumpy shortly after purchasing and it was difficult to get it all smooth u dear the sheet. Also after only a year, it is now ruined and tho I dried it on low like the tag said, it almost looks like the fabric has melted together and it is all hard and lumpy now. I don’t know if this should happen after only a year…

Their marketing uses all the buzzwords. Organic cotton top it is BUT stuffed with polyester. My goal is not to sleep on plastic, so I’ll look for other options. If you value waterproof more I’m sure this will work. But polyester fiber will start to smell over time as it’s not an organic (buzzword) fiber. It’s properties will hold sweat/pee overtime.

Keeps the bed dry! But I cannot believe how hot it was. I woke up sweatting multiple nights in a row (still while it was the cold of winter as well). Additionally, this was purchased because my wife and I are cosleeping with our baby. This protector has a pretty significant pillow-top layer to it, making the bed too plush and unsafe.

Nice enough product, but takes forever to dry (probably at least 4 full dry cycles, untangling/fluffing multiple times). Also very very warm to sleep on, even in a cold basement in winter.

It fits our king size bed well and seems to be protecting the mattress okay; however, we are having to purchase something else because it gets incredibly hot at night. Also a huge pain to wash and dry.

Washes & dries poorly. I have to put it through the dryer 4-6 times on high to fully dry. It also gets wrapped up in my washing machine weird. I bought it as a back up protector for a kids room & it’s so much bother to clean.

I really like that it is from organic cotton so it is an allergen and I can feel good about having my son sleep on it. This topper offers natural organic cotton, no harsh chemicals or dyes, and is waterproof. It has a polyester quilted top which adds comfort to your mattress without being too thick or lumpy. The washing instructions say to use a high capacity washer and dryer...that is definitely true! I thought I could get by drying it in my standard size dryer, it took forever! So keep that in mind when deciding on this product. I would recommend this product if you want a topper without all the dyes, bleaches and want organic sources.
