[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it two times and the different speeds quit working. I had one speed that worked, which was a slow speed. I returned it to the store I bought it at and they tossed it. Very disappointed as this was my first Kitchen Aid.

I have the large stand mixer and love it so it was a no brainer for me. And boy am I glad I did. This hand mixer not only look good but it works really well. It’s light weight but oh so powerful.I would 100 precent recommend this mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Kitchenaid hand mixer for Christmas 2023 to replace my previous mixer which I had had for many years. I love the color and the look of the new mixer, but what I noticed right away was that the mixer was not very powerful, even at the highest setting. But since it was a gift, I continued to use it, and I'd guess that I used it every two or three weeks to mix cake batter, whip potatoes, etc. I may have used it a total of 15-20 times, perhaps 3-4 minutes each time. Last week I was making a cake and while using the mixer, it made a loud POP! noise and sparks flew out of the mixer. I immediately unplugged it and of course it no longer works. Surely the life of a mixer should be longer than a TOTAL of perhaps 1-1.5 hours, but since I've had it over a year and the warranty covers just one year, I guess I'm just out of luck and will have to purchase another mixer to replace it. Very disapppointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace my previous Kitchen Aid hand mixer recently. I'm a little disappointed with my new one (5-Speed Ultra Power). The beaters are difficult to eject, especially the one with the little collar on it. After several pushes on the release button, the beater does come out, but it comes out forcefully, sometimes flying across the counter, scattering batter all over the counter and sometimes on the floor.

This feels like a toy when you pick it up. All moving parts are cheap plastic. The only metal are the beaters, and they're so thin I feel like I could break them when I'm washing them. The beaters don't fit in to the mixer properly, you have to wiggle them and jiggle them to get them in. They don't just click in. Then when you turn it on, it's wobbly, the beaters kind of hit against each other because they're not balanced properly. And there is zero power to this thing, you turn it all the way to high and it's barely enough to do anything. I cannot believe that KitchenAid put this product on the market. It is insulting. I will be returning mine. The Cuisinart one isn't much better I bought that and it was a little better but bad enough to return it. This one is a joke. So this one's getting returned and today I gave up, I went to my local thrift stores and found like a 40-year-old Hamilton Beach mixer. It's a tank and it's awesome and it'll probably last me till I'm dead. It was $3.

I really enjoy the color (aqua?) and it is excellent for creaming butter and sugar for cookie dough (chocolate chip, of course). I appreciate the beaters that are not too narrow and easy to clean. Mixer is compact and easy to clean; stores easily in my pantry. Well done, KitchenAid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this appliance as a replacement for an old one. I love its features, as there is a distinct difference in the speeds. I am a little put off that the other beaters were not included with the mixer. I called and was told that they were sold separately at a price that equaled the cost of the mixer itself. I cannot manage that after an episode of storm damage and repairs. Otherwise I am happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used so far for making whipped cream. Enjoy our professional grade kitchenaid mixer for most other cooking needs. Only wish you could stand the mixer up on its end while in between using without having to take out a beater or single whipping attachment. So leaning it up against a small bowl with cord coming out the side for me is awkward. Thx
