These floating black glass shelves are made of strong tempered glass (also known as safety glass), and are finished with highly polished edges. Two chrome brackets mount the shelf to the wall. Exactly what I wanted for my MCM bathroom at a great price. Most of the ones I'd seen on Amazon were $35 for just one shelf. Shelves are beautiful once hung. The hardware is very sturdy. Docking a star because a template would have made installation a helluva lot easier.

These are nice shelves and work just as I'd hoped they would in our bathroom. They seem sturdy enough for the bathroom items I wanted to place on them. The only improvement I'd suggest is clearer/better instructions, they are very vague, but luckily my husband is a great handyman who was able to figure out how to safely install them.

Exactly the size I needed for the space they were intended for. Also it matched well beyond what I thought. The glass isn't smoked though it's more like a black color.
