How to:
1. Create your desired hairstyle.
2. Add textured, soft matte finish and lasting hold by spraying this at the root first and then add a small amount from middle to ends.
Tip: Apply a little, wait 30 seconds, then see if you need more. Give the spray a chance to dry, creating texture and grit before adding a second layer.

Q: I recently bought the Beach Wave Spray by Kristin Ess and was wondering what the difference is between the texture spray and the beach spray. Anyone know?
A: I bought a sample of both and love them. I use the texture spray more towards the top 1/3 of my hair for lifting and the beach spray towards the ends for defining curls. So I use one or the other, or both depending on what I need that day! Find texture spray really great on 2nd (or 3rd) day hair for adding that body lost.
submitted bymjean - 7 years agoA: Hey Teresa, Thank you for your question! The Soft Shine Beach Wave Spray adds shine, softens hair, and helps separate curling iron waves. The Dry Finish Working Texture Spray adds volume and texture to hair and has a matte finish. Hope this helps! Q: Can you use on wet hair before styling
A: Hello! Thank you for your question! No, we do not recommend using the Dry Finish Working Texture Spray on wet hair. This product works best as a dry styler to add volume and texture to your finshed look. If you are looking for products for wet styling you could try the Instant Lift Volumizing Mousse or Thickening Spray for volume, these two stylers are made to be used before your blow dry to add lift. Hope this helps!

A: Thank you for your question! The Dry finish Working Texture Spray does have our signature fragrance with notes of ambrette seed, magnolia, pear water, night violet, orris butter, new caledonia sandalwood + white amber. If you have fragrance sensitivity you could try our fragrance-free line that includes wet care and styling products. Hope this helps!

Q: Can this be used as a prep spray before styling hair?
A: It works great for this! I use it before.
submitted byM - 5 months agoA: Hello! Thanks for your question. We recommend applying the Working Texture Spray after you have styled your hair. However, you may use before styling as well. We recommend focusing on applying the product to your roots and the middle of the hair.

Q: Is this a hairspray? How exactly does this work? Like can I use this before and while styling my hair and use my regular hairspray afterwards?
A: Hello! The Working Texture Spray does have a lasting hold so you may not need to apply hairspray afterwards but should you need a stronger hold, you may apply hairspray after your hair is completely styled and after using the Working Texture Spray (wait at least 30 seconds). We hope this helps!

Q: SO often scents in hair products are so unbearably strong....is this the case with this product?
A: Hello! Thanks for your question. The scent in the Working Texture Spray is a beautiful delicate clean and fresh aroma. Most of our customers love the scent and we know you will too!

Q: I just bought the texture spray but my hand is not strong enough to push and hold the button. Is this normal? I don't think I'm that weak. The little bit that I got out seems like it will be great.
A: Thanks for your question! Not to worry, that is normal, all new bottles will come this way. Our aerosol products have a locking system at the actuator to avoid product tampering and leaking in transit. Even if the product is spraying, if it is still difficult, the actuator lock may not be fully released. With the actuator on our aerosol products, you may have to press extra hard to release the lock. Try holding the bottle in both hands and with both thumbs, press down really hard. When you hear a big 'click', then you have fully broken the seal and will be able to spray the product easily.
