The quality seems ok, I like that it’s almost completely cotton. However the protector itself is too small to fit on my regular full sized mattress- the product description said the protector should fit mattresses up to 16in deep. It definitely does not.

When I hear “mattress pad” I think of cushion and comfort, but this item is very thin. We already have a mattress protector on our bed and this item is the same thickness as that. Without the added cushion that I was expecting, I’m not sure what purpose this item provides. Maybe I’m getting a mattress pad and a mattress topper confused as the same thing? Either way, we’ll be keeping this item on our mattress as an extra layer of protection.

I didn’t feel the cooking sensation and haven’t tested the moisture thing but overall it feels like sleeping on my regular mattress. I like that it protects my mattress and it fits good on it but I didn’t see a difference with it on.

While the basic pad portion is lovely and I expect it to wear well due to the fabric type, I'm not sure about the jersey type skirting that stretches to tuck under the mattress. It appears to have been hemmed without stretching, making it impossible to pull the sides and corners without ripping the hem stitching.

It does make my bed slightly more comfortable but not a major difference. It definitely does help with the cooling/breathable fabric.

It’s not real bulky which is a plus however it’s just thick enough to provide better support and protection for our mattress. My favorite thing of all is that we can wash it. I love nothing more than the smell and feel of freshly washed sheets and bedding items. This can be washed and put back on which makes it that much more fresh feeling. Very pleased with Sleep philosophy’s mattress pad!

I am very pleased with my queen mattress protector, it is a little padded making it great for a little extra cushion. I will be getting another for when I was this one. The sides are a mesh/net but good quality making it breathable and movable with the mattress.

I purchased a California king mattress pad, which does not fit the mattress at all. The pad itself is shorter than the mattress itself. This sides are very long and they do go under the mattress yet there is pulling and tearing on the lining between the pad and the side it is poor quality does not fit the size of the mattress which defeats the purpose of having a mattress pad. It is narrower than the mattress, but then the ends are longer.

Initially when I unpacked this, it was very stiff, but it softened up a lot after washing. Just FYI to anyone wondering. I'm very glad to have a natural fiber option, however, I will say that the filling inside was not filtered well... We stared real hard at it with a flashlight. I'm PRETTY sure the big dark spots we saw inside were cotton plant matter, not bugs... Whatever it is, it's dead now, but still kinda gross as I didn't expect it.
Using over topper and am happy. Yay for cotton!

Best mattress pad I've ever bought. Actual cotton ones that don't include lots of weird anti-microbial treatments are almost impossible to find. Wash really well and get softer with every wash. I have to buy another one because my cat started sleeping on one all the time because it's so soft and cozy - I had washed one and had dumped it on a guest bed and before I got to make the bed he moved in on it :-). So much better than the poly ones!

Manufacturer's description states "1 inch thick" this is deceptive marketing and not a typo. We measured the pad's thickness at barely 1/8th inch thick. Never used or washed it, just opened packaged saw product and returned. Target wasted our time and money. Wish we coud leave a zero rating.

So I wanted this to work so bad, wanted the mostly all cotton, paid alot of money to get cotton. but went to put it on, what a pain, like inches too small. bought a queen, but I tried my best to manuvuer it around, last corner it ripped, tore. so sad, do I return it?? I need it.

This is the worst piece of garbage mattress cover I ever bought in my entire life, it was damaged on the left side and the right side. The material is so stiff, it's like sandpaper. Do Not Buy This!!
