This night stand is really easy to put together. I only had one minor issue with tapping a piece into the front that didn't seem to want to go in. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the different color top, but it actually looks really nice. The top is large and the drawer is really spacious.

The nightstand looks nice and is solid but I'm concerned that the top may come off or it may fall apart because it's held together with hidden cams and cam screws. The cams and cam screws made it easy to put together vs drilling or nailing. Haven't used it yet so can't say whether I like it or not. Took all day to put one together and I have another one to go.

I have purchased several different brands of RTA furniture products over the years. Sauder is by far the best. Quality products, beautiful and easy to care for finishes, simple to assemble with detailed instructions and funny quips along the way (I'm a 70 year old grandmother), and the most cordial and responsive Customer Service. With all of Sauder's array of furniture types, finishes and styles, why buy any other brand?

After 16 HOURS of trying to piece this together, it still is not completed. With horrible instructions and holes that do not line up, I can honestly say that I will be returning this very soon!

The design of Sauder furniture has a few flaws. First the way the tops attach to the bases is very weak and if you try to pick up furniture from the top the weight of it will bend the attachment and the top will come off. The other flaw is the cheap drawer slides. Theyre not long enough for the drawer to open more than halfway and they stick and dont glide well. I bought two nightstands and was only able to get one of the drawers to work. The placement of the glide in the other wouldnt allow the drawer to close so I had to remove it.

All have been excellently designed for assembly with great manufacturing quality and best choice of materials for maximum value and long serviceability.
