I recieved this item a few weeks ago and found it to be just what my husband and son needed to store their ice fishing gear. 12 gallons holds quite a bit. The lid is somewhat flexible and the tote is easily stacked on a shelf for storing in the off season. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

I got this bin to use for free as part of a Sterilite program. I like how easily stackable this bin is. I like the lid but I don’t know how it would be to have more than one that was empty and trying to nest them together. But for actually using as a storage bin, this works well. I like the size - it isn’t so large that it’s too heavy once you fill it, like some other bins.

I received this product over 2 weeks ago and once received I began to use it. I have stored many tools and other such items in it and then use it to go back and forth to my vacation cabin. I really like the product as it is very tough, durable, and the hinged lid really makes getting access to the items inside highly convenient. I highly recommend it. I love this tote! It is one of the strongest and most sturdy totes I have ever had the pleasure of using! I used it to store Christmas things for next year, and everything fit inside perfectly! This Tote is wonderful for holding my power tools and attachments. It fits nicely on my shelf in the garage were I can access it. This tote is sturdy and gives you the opportunity to secure the lid via two holes, one on each end. I used zip ties. The only problem - and this is user decision error - it is not watertight, even zip-tied. I used the container on a trip. It was in an open trailer. It did fine on the first leg of the trip, but on the way back home, it rained, and everything in the container was soaked. I should've known not to trust a hinged lid, but didn't have anything else. Not really the fault of the container. *I received this product as part of a My-Take research study*

I ended up using tote to store my outdoor Christmas decorations. It's sturdy, easy to carry (due to both its size and comfortable hand grips), and the straight sides maximize useful volume. I love the hinged lid, for the pieces fold out of the way for easy loading/unloading and I don't have to keep track of a separate item when I am working outside. However, the left side of the lid piece does not sit flat on the rim of the tote (This is true for both lid pieces). There's only a ~1/4" gap, but it is large enough that the edge of the lid gets caught on things (if I hold the lid down, it does sit flat). I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

I really like the design and durability of this tote. The way the top opens and closes, connects together for a perfect seal, then you have the holes at the ends so you can zip tie it closed for an even more secure seal. I’m using this to store holiday decorations in my basement and I am looking to pick up some more of these to store other household and outdoor items in garage and basement.
