Intex 26645EG 2100 GPH Above Ground Pool Sand Filter Pump with Automatic Timer

It came missing two pieces. I emailed intex support over one month ago with zero response.

This filter does not have a rinse setting-this means that after a backwash, (with no option to rinse) sediment from the sand flows back into your pool. To avoid this, we have to remove the that returns the water back into the pool and let the sediment out- it works but it’s a big hassle. Another issue is the drain cap (to remove for a backwash) is made of a cheap material and actually cracked after less than 2 months of use. This filter also includes cheap, plastic hose clamps that will break. With these inconveniences, the filter runs well and my water has been clean. I would never again purchase a sand filter that does not offer a rinse setting. Next time, I will do more research before making a purchase.

Really great product. My wife and I used this on our 8 foot stock tank/cowboy pool. This pump is very easy to set up and operate. I used “LubeTube” on all of the gaskets and Teflon tape on all of the threads. Zero leaks! The kit only comes with one jet, so I ordered a second jet along with two plunger valves. Other than those pieces, a hole saw and a stock tank I was ready to go. The pump moves a serious amount of water and is virtually silent. I used filter balls instead of sand. The timer is a nice touch as well. Really happy with my purchase! Also, power usage is surprisingly low (monitored via a smart plug).

I love this pump! We bought the 16' Intex Ultra XTR pool and this pump came with it. I am so happy we made this purchase. It keeps our pool crystal clear and the automatic timer is great! I do recommend watching YouTube videos on how to work it though because the instructions it comes with are not clear. They don't tell you to backwash the pool every 7-10 days, nor does it tell you the optimal pressure. YouTube fixed that for me.

We've had this pump for a year now and no problem. Keeps the pool extremely clean.

I bought this a year ago to replace the cartridge filter that came with the pool. I have a 14'x48" pool. This filter has been a game changer. I have not had a green up once since installing the filter and it is low maintenance. Backwash and rinse once a week. If you are tired of replacing and cleaning those cartridges, by this filter.

After 8 years of use it was time for a new pump and sand filter. Intex makes great products and I’m absolutely happy with all my purchases. Just installed it and it’s working perfectly

This filter makes it so much easier to keep my pool clean and clear of debris. I prefer to use sand and salt than spending money on harsh chemicals and replacement filters. This is sturdy and effective and should last me years to come.

I know it's going to work awesomely because I've used Intex products before and their made so good and very sturdy plastics. This one has 6 functions a filtration, circulation, backwash, drain,rinceand close system. It also has a digital energy saving timer with a daily filtration up to 12 hrs cycles. It also carries a 25 ft power cord with built in GFCI for protection. I really think the kiddos are going to love the new pool and I'm going to love the pump that's going to make cleaning the pool so much easier.

They only need to be replaced every 5 years . No complaints here has been working great for us for 3 years now !
