A: The Deep Point Blade is recommended for intricate cuts on thicker materials, such as magnet, chipboard, stamp material, thick cardstock, stiffened felt, foam sheets, cardboard, and some fabrics. Wanted something more sturdy than cardstock to use for my dream box tote liners, so got this blade to cut pieces of matboard, then lined the matboard with my favorite adhesive vinyls. This blade handled 40+ matboard cuts with no problem! Then used it to cut my extra matboard into a father's day photo mat, and that came out great, too! Can't wait to see what else it can do.
