Crafted from hand-selected Northern hard rock maple wood, this chopping board exemplifies environmental responsibility and quality craftsmanship. The cutting board features a reversible design, so you can use both sides when cutting various foods. For added versatility, you can even use the butcher block as a serving piece for fruits, cheeses, and more. The 1.5-inch thickness provides an elevated surface, and the board is easily portable for simple storing and maneuvering.
The board comes with a cream finish with beeswax that seals and protects the cutting board. Featuring a natural, rectangular look with a modern design will make this cutting board stand out from ordinary wood or plastic boards. When finished meal prepping, simply hand wash with soap and cool water to clean.
The solid edge grain construction is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. After you're finished using the cutting board, easily wash it by hand. Embarrassing craftsmanship. Gouges, cracks in the wood, and rough patches. The worst cutting board quality I have ever seen. Have they no quality control? Embarrassing for $125. Straight back to the store it goes.

The board is lighter than expected which makes for easy moving. The rounded edges and finger grips on the side are the perfect touch. The board has held up very nicely. It such a beautiful piece that I don’t mind it sitting on the counter. It could easily pass as decoration. The size is perfect. Not too big, not too small. Perfect to utilize as a cutting board and beautiful enough to serve on. I’m highly impressed with the quality and craftsmanship and would recommend to all my friends and family. It’s a beautiful and functional piece.

I love the size to cut all my veggies. Being a vegetarian, I cook daily, and both my husband and I love cutting veggies on this board. We eliminated plastic cutting boards as it constantly scratches and chips. Love it!

It looks beautiful, the color is rich, it's smooth to the touch, and is of excellent quality! The indents on both sides are nice for handling and moving. The size is perfect, not only for using as a cutting board but also as a charcuterie board. Maintenance of the board is easy and it comes with instructions on how to care for your board.

This is the smallest board made in this style, and I was afraid it would be too small, but it fits well on my counter. The board is a bit heavy, but I’m using a towel under it anyway to keep it from slipping. I DO NOT WANT TO BREAK THIS. The wood is very sturdy and strong. There was no penetration into the board with cutting or slicing. On top of that it’s really beautiful just sitting out. I can’t wait to use this more to see how it wears. My father has some beautiful cutting blocks of his own that have lasted over 50 years with regular care. I’m sure this one will last too. I’m going to treat it with olive oil before using it again, as it dried out a bit when I took it out of the packaging, but other than that the performance is awesome! I would definitely recommend this to any cooking enthusiast who loves quality tools. It would make an excellent and memorable gift as well.

This vendor (Spreetail) is inflating the prices of Boos cutting boards and then putting them on “sale” but the sale prices are just the regular prices found on John Boos website. The cutting boards themselves are great 5 stars for the cutting board) but this vendor is immoral for trying to trick its customers into thinking they’re getting a deal/discount. Don’t give your money to this vendor and just get your cutting board straight from Boos website.

I’ve been using this one for a few months now and I actually love it! PROS - looks great - easy to clean - easy to treat - clearly great quality CONS - Takes a while to dry so I can put it away - takes up a surprising amount of cupboard space

It is heavy I did need help picking it up at times. Make sure to use the cleaning kit on the surface before using. Loved how smooth and hydrated the wood looks and feels. To maintain and keep looking nice follow instructions they are clear to understand. I chopped food on the board with no trouble and wood holds up so nice. Washing board is easy and love the new addition to my kitchen. It does not fade or look cracked when washing it holds up so well. Love it and recommend to everyone.

Highly recommend the care kit for it to keep it renewed. I use mine almost every day and I flip it over weekly to ensure even use. It is easy to keep clean and the maple itself is very strong and sturdy and sure to be part of my kitchen for many years to come.

I love using it to slice a brisket and ribs after smoking them all day. It also came with the maintenance kit to keep it sealed and looking beautiful so that you can keep it out on the kitchen counter all the time if you want. I think that this thing will out last me and the next generation for sure.

The weight of the board is ideal, its heavy so it doesn't slide around and it's the perfect size for chopping multiple things or one large thing. It also has very convenient handles on the side of the board, making it very easy to move around and keep level when carrying with chopped items on it. You do want to get the boos oil with it to keep it clean and protected. So far this board hasn't looked dried out or cracked at all.

I've had less expensive boards, however nothing can compare with this board. There is a care and maintenance kit that I recommend you get with the board. Helps with preserving the life of the board.
