I have a 4 month old Doberman and she has dry skin especially under her arm pits. She was scratching at it making it worse and more irritated/inflammed, before I noticed it as well she was wearing a harness that was also rubbing against it. So I sprayed it over pit ONE time and the very next day it was completely gone. It says not to let them lick it so I sprayed it while she was asleep and she didn’t seem to mind because she went right back to sleep. During the day the redness started to go away and become less inflamed, the very next day it was all pink skin colored and no bumps. 10/10 recommend. The photos are the day of, during the day, then the next day

My dog had irritated red skin by her belly area. After two days of spraying we saw a difference, on day three it was like nothing had ever happened! Definitely will be keeping this in stock in our home!

This is a lifesaver! My dog was incorrectly diagnosed with fleas when he was really dealing with multiple hot spots hidden by his thick fur. I paired this with the shampoo, and some Benadryl. The hot spots directly sprayed began healing the very next day, and I could see the true relief when I sprayed each spot. 10/10 recommend!

I’d give it 10 stars. My dogs stop scratching for a very long time, like from the evening till the next morning. I even use it on myself for mosquito bites. The relief is almost instant.

It worked great on my Dalmatian that kept licking her belly and became red and dry. I saw results within two days. Always try on a small area since animals can be allergic to certain ingredients and we don’t even know about it.

I’ve never had a dog get hot spots before until this one, so I had no idea what it even was. I have a Maltese that’s very fluffy, so hot spots aren’t as noticeable like they are with short haired dogs either. That being said, here’s how I figured out he had hot spots incase you’re new to this like myself. I noticed my dog was scratching a lot lately, but a couple of years ago at this exact same time my dog got fleas, so when he was scratching all the time I kept looking for fleas but he didn’t have them. He’s also treated every month with a flea preventative so I honestly started to think he just had really dry, itchy skin due to all the severe heat and humidity in Louisiana. I also kept noticing all these white fuzz balls constantly all over my house when my dog doesn’t typically shed where it’s noticeable in my home, and he’s always digging at his bed, so I was searching for where the “stuffing” was coming from out of his bed or toys, but never found it. I finally realized it was his fur once it started looking thin on his back, then I searched through his coat and saw a hot spot! I immediately went and purchased this last night and 24 hours later, his hot spot is almost gone. Like another reviewer stated, he didn’t like me spraying him the first time, but once he realized it made him feel much better, he sat still for me the next 2 times I’ve sprayed him so far. I haven’t seen or heard him scratch since either, and I love that the lidocaine gives my baby some relief. I’m so thankful for this stuff, and so is my pocketbook from not having to go to the vet.

This stuff is amazing! My mom's dog is an Irish Wolfhound. She is the size of a small pony, basically. So she isn't allowed in the house. She lives in the backyard, garage, etc. So I was concerned that she had lost some fur on her lower back. The next day was red and swollen, and the skin was dry. I bought this to try since the spray would mean I wouldn't need her to be still or have me applying creams. The instructions say to use 2X per day. I used it as soon as I got home. As expected, she wasn't happy with me spraying stuff on her. But, she doesn't ever sit still anyway and won't even come near a water hose or sprinkler. The 2nd application time, she understood what I had. I held her cokar and she waited. I sprayed it and gave her a treat. Skin was still red and cracked, so maybe she was scratching or rubbing it overnight. 3rd application tonight was easier because there was no more swelling, nor any redness to be seen. I am SO happy this worked! And it says it's okay to use on cats, as well. You can see her, Lily, in the photo

My dog had been biting at a hotspot. Just yesterday morning it was red and irritated. I ran to Target, got this and have been following the directions. I used it twice yesterday and so far once today. She hasn’t been scratching at it and the redness/ irritation has gotten SO much better. I can tell she’s gotten relief with this stuff. I’m so glad!

Our sweet Shorkie is 10 years old & has developed itchy skin. After our Vet recommended over the counter Benadryl, which didn’t help. Vet then recommended dog prescription daily pill, Apoquel. It worked but costs about $60 per month!! After some research, found this spray. Spoke to Vet who said safe to try. We generously sprayed her and noticed very positive results after just a couple of days. We’ve momentarily stopped giving her Apoquel. We give her over counter Claritin once per day with spray and have noticed she’s better. All Vet approved. Next will try an oatmeal shampoo for even more relief. We’re happy with this spray & we give her treats after spray application! Thanks Target!!

This has started healing a large spot on our dog’s leg! We’ve bought $30 shampoo from the vet at least 4 times and she keeps chewing to the point of broken skin and lumps in pain. She doesn’t like the spraying part, but within 5 days of using it, all the broken skin is healing! Love that it has a painkiller, works on healing open wounds, and she’s stopped chewing altogether. This is MONTHS of itching and pain, almost healed within ONE week. Just get it.
