I bought this for a clinic break room with lots of turnover needs. I was hoping it automatically keeps making ice as long as the reservoir is full but that doesn't seem to be the case. It's great looking and makes ice quickly when you push the button each time though.

It does a great job at the cottage. We used it for all our drinks & didn’t need to buy any ice from the store for our cooler. It worked like a champ all week for 8 adults.

Just purchased & prepped, now making ice cubes. Although it's not as fast as I'd prefer, it does a good job. Seems I can go 3-4 cycles before neededing to empty the basket & get ice cubes into freezer. Sure does a lot more than the one here previously.

I just received my new ice maker, filled it with water, but the water is not moving into the back chamber to make the ice. After a minute, then the No Water light comes on, but the front container where you pour in the water is up to the fill line. Is it defective, or am i missing something?

If your ice maker isn't producing ice at all or is producing crescents or cubes that are smaller than usual, it's typically indicative of a clog somewhere along the supply line. Another possible cause is the heat output is blocked or the water temperature/ambient temperature is too high. Clean any dust off the air inlet and outlet. Lastly, please give your unit a hard reboot. Unplug it and plug it back in after 15-20 minutes. This allows the unit to go back to factory settings. After doing a lot of research I purchased this ice maker from ABT.com and it is really as good as described. The self-cleaning function was a huge selling point for me. I had a different and much more expensive ice maker which just never worked correctly and I had to toss it after 1 yrs use because the interior was permanently stained and not for lack of cleaning. I chose this brand/model over the Avanti (which also dispenses cold water) because of the self cleaning function and I am glad i did. The unit is silent and easy to maintain and I actually like the single cube size since I have had other units where you can choose various ice cube sizes, but they never work. I would like to purchase a spare plug and cover for the water outlet and if you could tell me where to buy one I would appreciate it. I look forward to many years of usage.

As the owner of a small RV this has met my expections, fills my cooler to keep foods cold, annoying to be constantly filling with water and empting ice but it will pay for itself, ice is roughly 3 bucks a bags so I would suggest this to save money
