I love this ice maker. The ice maker in our refrigerator stopped working and it never made enough ice anyway. I did a lot of research and purchased this one. Yes, you do have to break apart the ice, but it’s quick and easy. I bought a metal ice scoop and I simply plunge it into the ice bricks a couple of times and it breaks it apart. I have had it a month and a half and use it to get ice several times a day. I have six people in my family and it does a great job of keeping up with our ice needs.

I wanted a ice machine to make plenty of ice for ice chest while camping. This machine does that, I also like that I can put plenty of water in it so I don’t have to be close to refill it so often. It’s not noisy at all and worth the price.

It does make enough ice. However, it comes out in big “bricks” that have to be crushed apart in order to put it into a cup. Ice is hard to chew, also. Not self cleaning like it is advertised. Also, not 15 different sizes like it says. We will be returning this item.
