A: Hi SJ. Biotrue Hydration Boost Lubricant Eye Drops are considered GRASE (generally recognized as safe and effective) by the FDA and may be used by children. Because dry eye symptoms can be due to many different causes, parents should consult with their child’s pediatrician for assessment and diagnosis of the condition before using eye drops for their child.

Q: Due to surgery slip messed up a nerve, my right eye doesn't close all the time completely. I end up having some eye pain that wakes me up so I have to use eye drops. Will this product last longer.

A: Hi Lisa. Biotrue Hydration Boost Eye Drops are indicated to provide relief from dry eye symptoms. Lumify Eye Drops, also from Bausch + Lomb, are indicated to reduce redness to help eyes look whiter and brighter. Hope this helps!

I used this only twice and it caused a horrible reaction around my eyes. I went to the dermatologist and it turned out, I developed contact dermatitis. If you have sensitive skin and prone to eczema/dermatitis, be careful!

What I liked about these lubricant eye drops is the easy squeeze bottle application , let’s not say that the product is amazing, but let’s actually say it’s amazing. What I dislike is that the comfort of the remedy that lubricate the eye doesn’t last for more than a few hours.

Biotrue Hydration Boost Dry Eye Drops - 10ml was given to me as a free sample from PinchME. Biotrue never disappoints. My eyes went from being dry to being moisturized after putting two drops in each eye once a day. I will definitely buy and use this product late fall through mid-spring.

Bottle sucks, I got a sample prior to buying and they were really awesome. Bought the product and my eyes feel worse than before. I have severe dry eyes so I was looking for a new product to help with relief, the relief is so brief before my eyes are dry and sticky(?) feeling.

I received this as a sample and I am so glad that I did! I like that they come individually wrapped so you can just toss them in your purse or backpack and have them ready at any time. It does provide a nice fresh cooling sensation that is truly hydrating. When you're behind computer screens a lot, your eyes do need some extra care.

Love the solution, the bottle on the other hand most have been designed by a sadist. What purpose could the bottle design serve that the trade off was that the whole structure will collapse into itself after some use?

I use this product all the time for my eyes & was running out of it so I ordered it to be shipped to my home. When I received it the expiration date was already past. Ordered in September but the expiration date was in June. This was Target’s fault not the manufacturer’s fault. They need to check expiration dates before shipping.

I got these as a free sample and I have used them all up besides this one already. Working in an office staring at a Computer all day definitely strains the eyes so having this is definitely a great way to help alleviate my dry eyes. The packaging is perfect for a quick fix and this is the only brand my optometrist recommends for me based on the ingredients and what’s best for my eyes.

The drops work great but the dropper itself is horrible. I’ve been using Systane Ultra since my lasik surgery 5 years ago and they worked good until recently. My optometrist said the preservatives were preventing the drop from moisturizing my eyes and recommended I switch to Biotrue. Biotrue is moisturizing my eyes better but the dropper is so badly designed that I have to squeeze the bottle a lot to get a drop out and holding my eyes open wide that long actually dries them out. Plus two drops always comes out and sometimes that second drop falls on my face not in my eye and sometimes it just stays on the tip. Either way it’s a waste of drops. Even though the drops work great the dropper is so annoying that I won’t be buying these again.

Iv tried different eye drops through the years but Bausch+Lomb’s Biotrue Eye Drops for irritated and Dry eyes is and feels a little different and I noticed it right away. It is not as watery as other drops in that you can feel and tell, more of a slightly thicker moistness when it drops into your eyes. It is immediately soothing when you have dryness (which I do first thing in most mornings) and irritation. It has a staying power that you can feel in your eyes for a while after dropping them in. It’s a very nice and effective product.
