This product is advertised as waterproof. I have worn it twice and both times ended up with black under my eyes and smeared all over my eyelids. I will be returning and won't ever try it again.

I have purchased this religously for the last few years, normally it's amazing. Never smears BUT... the last 2 times I have purchased this there has only been 1 or 2 uses out of it and the liner breaks and WILL NOT roll up. I can't get any more product out. I am hoping Ulta retruns this product for the 2nd time in 2 weeks.

Expensive and didn't last as long it smeared and it was not long lasting. I was very disappointed with the eyeliner got two different colors and didn't see a difference. There other affordable brands that work much better.

i got this for my free diamond member gift, and i almost returned it because i didnt know how to push more product out. i wish they put somewhere on the box that you have to push the packaging downwards to get more product (so yours probably isn't ran out, its just stuck on the inside) . it also flakes? it leaves black specks on my undereyes and i know its not my mascara cause i havent applied it yet. its also hard to draw with, its patchy and dry so i have to keep going over the same spot. 2 stars cause once its on, it doesnt budge

Love this, have repurchased several times. Have never had an issue with breakage or faulty sharpener, and do not understand the reviews indicating that it is complicated to sharpen. It's very simple, the sharpener is in the cap, you put the cap on and give one gentle twist and then remove cap....liner is pointy sharp every time. I used to use Clinique Intense Quickliner until I found this Smashbox one. This one really does stay on all day without smudging or settling into tiny fine lines directly under my eye lower rim. Love this liner.

I love the color and texture of this pencil (I got Sumatra, and it's a beautiful, dark, rich brown). But I am having a hard time figuring out how to get more of the product out once it is worn down.

I purchased this eye liner 2 weeks ago and the sharpening feature isn't working. The pencil isn't coming up in order for the sharpening tool to work. I'm returning it to the store. One good thing, though, it does stay in place and doesn't smudge.

I have bought these for years but they don't last long which makes them very expensive. I have switched to a gel pencil liner which works just as well for about a third of the cost.

I am giving this a low rating because of the current colors. I have been using the Smashbox Always Sharp eyeliner for several years and absolutely loved it. I loved how easy it is to apply and that it is always sharp without having to fool around with a messy manual sharpener. AND I loved the colors 3D Sparks and 3D Billionaire. They were the most awesome colors with sparkles in them. I do not like the current available colors, there is nothing comparable to what I was using and what I loved. So I will have to search for an eyeliner from another company. Please, please, please bring back 3D Sparks and\or 3D Billionaire!

I want to love this, but I can't. The liner itself is amazing. It's highly pigmented and stays on the waterline throughout most of my 10 hour shift. The issue is with the self sharpening lid. It constantly breaks off the liner into the lid, wasting a ton of the product. You also cant tell how much line is left. The design of this is horrible, making an amazing product basically worthless. Don't waste your money.

I used my free diamond gift for this eyeliner and it is hands down the worst eyeliner ive ever used. It doesnt go on easily so you have to keep going over it but then when you do go over it again, it wipes off the product that already went on. Its terrible. I didnt even pay for the item and I'm still mad about it.
