This product has clearly not been safety tested and is bound to have recalls in the future. Babies need to sleep in beds with breathable sides and firm mattresses.

Beautiful but there’s just no way this bassinet is safe for the age period 0-4 months as advertised. Prior to my baby I had this on my list and it was a must have. Now that I actually have the baby I know better. This bassinet, although stylish and chic, is not safe for infants and is a major risk for SIDS. Fabric is not breathable which is a suffocation risk, and the pad the baby lays on needs to be firm. Basic SID safety says soft surfaces increase SID risk, so this entire bassinet appears like a suffocation risk. Quite frankly I’m surprised it’s still on the market. To new moms - I know this seems so cute and probably matches your homes aesthetic, but the reality is that the number one function of your baby’s bassinet is supposed to be SID safety, not style. I am glad I know better now and hopefully now you do too.
