Q: Does the motion stop once baby stops crying or how long does it stay on for?

A: Thanks for your interest in our products! If no additional cry is detected for 15 minutes, motion/vibration/music/sounds will gradually decrease to off over a 5 minute period, but detection will remain on and in listening mode (baby face illuminated).

LOVE THIS BASSINET! It has worked amazing with our little one... one thing to note, as other reviewers have pointed out, it is squeaky initially just as it's getting broken in, but the squeaking quickly goes away with continued use. Recommend "breaking it in" prior to babies arrival (run it on the rocking cycle with something similar weight of baby in it) to help eliminate squeaking before needing it.

We started out loving it. But seems the more we use it the squeakier it gets. Almost like it needs to be oiled up. Other than that it’s great. I will say it’s big and takes up a good amount of space whenever you intend on keeping it. And of course it need to be plugged in. We had to use an extension cord to place it where we wanted in our room

My son is 5 weeks old and we liked this at first. But after 5 weeks it has started making weird noises like squeaks that are so loud and annoying. Nothing like finally getting your baby to sleep only to be woken up an hour later by their noisy bassinet. It’s also very clunky sounding which I can get past but it is loud for a baby bassinet. For the price of this it’s not worth it. We had a snoo with our third baby and it was 1000 times better. We decided to buy this for our fourth and it was a fail. Don’t waste your money on this because it will break after 5 weeks. Very disappointed because this was not cheap to buy! Do better Graco.

Giving it 2 stars because it’s aesthetically pleasing but it deserves zero. From out of the box this bassinet had a loud clunking sound. Once our baby arrived we noticed the cry detection is very delayed and doesn’t kick in until he is full on crying & needs to be soothed by us. If I hear him starting to ramp up and turn the rocking motion on he will go back to sleep but that defeats the purpose of the cry detection. Our baby is only 11 weeks old and the bassinet has started this horrible squeaking sound that wakes us and baby up so the motion feature is no longer able to be used. I would have much rather splurged on the snoo.

We received this as a gift for our baby born last December, so we have used it for 3 months now. While it looks pretty and has a lot of functions, it is highly impractical since there are no replacement mattresses or mattress sheets available, and both items must be air-dried after washing. The rocking feature seems too strong even at the lowest setting. The worst part is that about a month ago, the rocking feature started squeaking terribly loudly from time to time. We tried to see if it would resolve on its own but it has persisted. Last night, the loud squeaking sound woke our baby up which is incredibly frustrating when we just want our baby to have optimal sleep. I will no longer be using the rocking feature and plan to transition baby to a crib in the near future. Seeing similar reviews about the squeaking issue, it doesn’t seem like this product was tested well enough prior to release, and I don’t think it’s worth the price, unfortunately.

I don't understand how Graco could design such a nice product and execute so poorly. This bassinet sounds so loud and clunky. The sounds come and go and we constantly reposition the bassinet to try to mitigate it. Also, "the mattress" that came with it was so slim it wore down easily making the surface so hard it wasnt possible to sleep. Also, why don't they sell spare sheets and matress covers?? The bassinet is an odd shape making finding aftermarket accessories a challange. Everything about this bassinet should be awesome but it's not.

Bought this product in November, my baby was born in December. She slept in it for a couple weeks and it wouldn’t rock. Reached out to Graco and they sent a new motor. 1 week later that motor doesn’t work and the motherboard part is spazzing out.

Back to a traditional blunder unfortunately. The rocking motion is very loud, and my baby is unable to soothe past it. My baby typically can sleep is a very noise house with vacuums and tvs playing however the noise from the rocking function makes this product unuseable.

Bought in November used it for about a month and baby won’t sleep in it now. The mag is super thin, rocking is loud, and the baby crying monitor is completely useless.

We were looking for a smart bassinet on a budget and we found Graco SmartSense! I read reviews about how loud it is, but honestly that is not true. It’s not that loud (at least for us) because it’s better than waking up constantly. My newborn loves the bassinet! He sleeps well and only wakes up to eat! The “cry” option that automatically starts as soon as the baby cries is a blessing! I would highly recommend

The only reason why I’m giving it two stars is because it’s aesthetically pleasing. The rocking feature is SO OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD. it literally wakes me and my baby up. I can’t believe this thing has 5 star reviews?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bassinet. Firstly, it was easy to put together. I was able to do this by myself in less than 15 minutes. Secondly, I like that the electronics are embedded within so not only is it aesthetically pleasing, it is also much safer to not have long cords dangling if you have other children around. The touchscreen is quite responsive. I was easily able to get the bassinet to move and play music without opening the manual. My daughter appears quite comfortable and fell asleep very quickly. I am looking forward to us all getting better sleep in the future. I received an incentive to write this review.

This bassinet has so many features that I’ve never seen before. I love that it already came with a bassinet sheet. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was a little bit difficult to put the top rails together. I’m able to keep this bassinet in my dining area so that I can get things done around the house while watching her. It’s great that it connects to my phone and I am able to control the settings from there. When she cries, the bassinet also the detects it end it begins to pulse to soothe her. I received an incentive to write this review.

It is a great height which I feel would be perfect for those who had c-sections or have higher beds but still want baby at eye level. I especially love the womb sounds, white noise, and Bluetooth features so that I can play the genre of music that baby prefers.
