I have been using this compact for many years. I keep one in my purse and one at home.

I love the powder, but 3 of my pressed powders cracked. The compacts were not dropped. The pressed powder always breaks up when the compact is dropped. I have dropped a couple. It is not usable because it continues to crack. It makes a mess. It's getting expensive to continue to buy new compacts.

I had to stop wearing liquid makeup due to how dry my face is it always peeled off. This powder has plenty coverage and feels lite on my face. I highly recommend it!

Man I love this foundation powder. It is lighter so it really works well after the liquid foundation. I usually put a small amount of the acne solutions foundation on then blend with foundation brush followed by my blush stick, then even it all out with this powder for the finish. My skin looks flawless with such little effort and i look natural not like someone painted my face. It helps to absorb any oil spots, and makes my liquid foundation last all day. I usually buy the neutral shade because it works so well if i am tan or in the winter.

Ulta discontinued what I was using and this was a perfect replacement

I have been using this powder for decades. I can use a few different shades, which is nice if my regular shade is out of stock. This was the first Clinique product I tried. It's the only powder that didn't make me break out. I wouldn't use anything else!

I have extremely sensitive skin, so years ago I talked with the Clinique rep in-store, and she recommended this powder. I've been using it for years! It's never made me break out, or had any adverse affects to my skin. Definitely my fav!

Worked and event and had to Rip this off and reapply the cheap stuff because this made my face makeup separate

This has been my go-to pressed powder for decades, going way back to when it was in that ugly green square compact. I prefer this over the blotting powder for touch ups, and as a minimalist, the mirrored compact saves me from carrying around a separate mirror in my purse. The powder doesn't feel heavy, and never looks cakey. I use this to set my base as well as for touchups. Keeps my oily t-zone matte for hours without looking dry. The invisible matte is perfectly invisible no matter if I'm darker in summer months. I agree that the price is getting kind of steep but I try to wait for a sale. I haven't found another powder that works as well as this. I hope this powder is never discontinued.

Broke my face out

I have always been a fan of this product but recently tried to back off from wearing too much foundation or tinted powder. I chose this to help with shine and blur imperfections. This powder leaves a white dusting on the skin that is unappealing.

I've been using this powder for over 10 years. I tried some other products, but always had to come back to clinique as this powder gives very natural look and stays all day without getting oily or dry.

First off, let me preface this by saying I am the world's pickiest (and I mean, PICKIEST) person out there when it comes to powder foundations. I have tried, quite literally almost every brand out there (and that isn't an exaggeration.). That said, I have also found fault with nearly each and every one (poor coverage, price/value, staying power, cakiness, etc.). This powder is literally THE BEST I have tried out of HUNDREDS, except for one major issue: there isn't a suitable shade for NEUTRAL fair/light skin. Every light shade is geared towards either pink or yellow undertones. The only true neutral shade (ironically enough, called Neutral) is for medium skinned guys and gals and is wayyy to dark on us fair skinned folks! I can't for the life of me understand this as Clinique has had numerous customers beg/plead/implore them to expand their shade range on this for YEARS now! If/when they do, they will unquestionably have the best powder on the market. The coverage is excellent, it blends/absorbs beautifully into the skin, lasts with minimal if any touchups throughout the day and literally just looks like your skin but better. So, long and short of it, would I recommend this? Yes, if you are pink or yellow toned and can find a suitable shade to match your skin. Otherwise, consider looking elsewhere if/until they listen to their customers and expand their shade range accordingly.

I'm a regular purchaser of two different shades of this powder coverage--01 and 02. I use 01 on the T-zone of my face and 02 for the sides and neck area to cover redness. I find this powder coverage to provide ideal, light coverage--it's definitely not too "heavy" or cakey. I can't say it's perfect for controlling shine so I personally pair this with Clinique's universal blotting powder. If you have oily skin like me you might want to pair this with the blotting powder as well.
