So now that it’s been about 2 weeks of using this stand, I can officially say that I’m extremely pleased with this purchase! For context, I do a lot of programming at this desk so the dual monitor inclusion was a great value for me. It’s also a lot sturdier and easier to lift than I thought for a non-powered stand (I consider it bonus that it doesn’t contribute to my pre-existing cord clutter). So, while it’s not a super flashy, trendy standing desk, it’s still exactly what I wanted and needed! Pros: * Monitor mount is a really great value. Great for multitaskerss. * I was surprised how easy it is to lift and how well it stays put, despite not being a powered stand. * Even if you don’t use the mount (I had to wait a bit to set mine up), you shouldn’t have to hold down a monitor with a flat base - I never had to hold down mine when lifting or lowering. * Ample room for coffee mugs and desk toys. Again, I was pleasantly surprised that I never had to hold anything down in fear of stuff falling off. Though, I personally still hold down/take off my mugs since I don’t want the liquid to accidentally slosh out! * The back of the keyboard tray (and a bit on the sides) is magnetic, which is great for my magnetic white board markers, magnets, holding notes, etc. * The back of the keyboard tray also has a few holes for cord management, if need be. * Comes with 2 cable clips you can put underneath the top tier; this can technically stick on anything, so you don’t have to use them for the stand if you don’t want to. * Mount can technically be placed on a different desk, if you want that flexibility. Cons: * If you like to use a decent sized tablet or larger notebook to write/take notes, it may be a tad awkward to position yourself. The top tier is a bit too high/too far back to write comfortably, and assuming you’ve put a keyboard on the keyboard tray (and it’s not too big), you’ll probably need to slide it over a bit to make room to write. Generally if I’m writing a lot on my iPad, I’ll move my keyboard to the top tier in front of the monitor; for quick notes, I’ll slide to the side of my tiny Mac keyboard. * Though a monitor with a large base would certainly be the most stable, non-mounted option, it may take up a lot of room on the top tier, which won’t allow you to fit a laptop or another monitor on it. * Dual mount has a max size of two 24” monitors each, which can be considered on the smaller size in terms of work real estate, and it’s not great to buy two new monitors just to fit it, especially if you already have larger monitors. * While you don’t necessarily have to hold things down, you should anticipate at least a little bit of wobble for anything you put on the top level. * the provided cable clips seem to be cheap plastic, so not really sure how long those will last if you end up stringing a bunch of cords through them, or accidentally bang knock into them.
Easy set up. Good price point

A Game Changer

The AirRise Pro 2.0 has given me the freedom to work sitting or standing, which is a real game changer. I am now spending 3 - 4 hours a day standing, which has reduced lower back pain and my hamstrings don't feel so tight at the end of a long day. Just a few observations, the dual monitor mount that came with my stand-up desk wasn't strong enough to actually hold my screens upright. My IT manager was able to use a standard desk mount that was strong enough to hold my two screens in an upright position, but I wish I had the ability to position my screens at an angle. The screens are mounted side-by-side perfectly flat, but if I could pull them into a slight "V" that would be optimal.

The monitor stand doesn't hold the weight of the monitors very well and we had to modify to make them stay upright and not lean.

The only thing I would do is make it stabler for the monitors and things that might be clamped on the back so it didn't tip that way when lifting it.

I saw the reviews that said it wouldn't allow you to angle the screens which was ackward, but after adding screen privacy protectors it was even harder to see the sides of the monitors. I thought I'd just be able to purchase a separate arm extension that allowed for this to be fixed; however, when I contacted StandUpDeskStore via phone, I was informed that there is not a compatible option out there. Also there is a challenge with the size of laptop vs where the dual monitors blocking the view of it, even when extended out. It'd be nice if it reached just a little higher up to allow full viewing of the laptop. Defeats the purpose of have the desktop there for a laptop.

I wish mounting screws were included with the kit. The desk is easy to adjust but heavy which is fine. My biggest complaint is the dual computer mounts seem to skew outward rather than inward. I tried flipping the mounts and adjusting the computers but it would be better if the mounts had a slight angle to them as the monitors turned inward for easier viability.

I like the functionality of it and how easily it raises/lowers. If you're trying to mount two monitors...good luck. They were too heavy for the support bar and tipped forward. Also - the support bar had the monitors completely flat - making it difficult to utilize dual monitors. I ended up just setting both of my monitors on the table (and a third next to it on my actual desk space). For the price, it works fine - I think you get what you pay for.

I like the desk but the monitors on the bar are not adjustable except for up and down. Does not adjust in so you are looking at complete flat monitors. Also the monitor bar kept sliding down so had to remove the whole bar. Just using stands for monitors on the desk top. Paid extra apparently for a bar I canÕt use.

Quality is excellent... the only downside is the monitor bracket leaves the monitors too close to your face. I had a 24" monitor I mounted first, but immediately replaced it with 2- 19" monitors because the monitor ends up being about 20" away from your face. WAY TOO CLOSE!!! Designers need to figure out way to get monitor bracket mounted BEHIND the monitor post which would essentially move the monitors back about 12" (Even with 19" monitors, they are still too close to my face in either the standing or sitting position.) Another option might be to make a keyboard tray that slides out - which would also accomplish getting the monitors farther away from your face??? Other than that, I love it. Very easy to use - has no problem lifting up keyboard, 2 monitors (and other assorted staplers, tape dispensers, etc) that I put on the top shelf. I will have to modify it (probably extend the keyboard tray) to get the monitors away from my face though - but I would definitely buy again. Doing computer work on my feet 70% of the time, and sitting 30% of the time, seems to be helping my back issues that I had from previously sitting all day. Thank you!

Definitely worth the money. Would have been 5 stars if the monitor pole allowed swivel room to angle screens slightly up. The mount has them angled down with the pole configuration. Since I'm tall, I had to remove it and use standard monitor stands. Otherwise a good buy.

I strongly recommend this stand up desk. Very spacious easy to put together. Watch out for the size of your monitors and the size of your desk. Fit well on my desk but my associate did not read the find print and he was unable to use it. The Monitor mount is touchy and mine was leaning forward so I had to put some shimmies in.

Love this standing desk!! Plenty of room for everything I need. Its a touch heavy (which is why its not 5 stars) but I guess that is to be expected to handle the weight of the monitors. I wish I bought this thing a year ago!
