Pretty close to ready to use right out of the box. Works well with my laptop, although now I need something to bring the top of my screen up to eye level, while keeping my arms at right angles - can't have it both ways without a lift of some kind.

While a full-size standing desk was my original goal and would be nice, I was delighted to discover this mini version for my crowded office. With the small auxiliary notebook computer bought to go with it, I have all the stand-up desk space I need to be able to escape my desk chair and get all the natural benefits of standing for portions of the day. And quality is outstanding.

Too difficult to push back down

I'm 5'8 and it's not quite tall enough. And when I need to sit back down, it's too difficult to push back down, so I end up just leaving it in the stand-up position. The push lever makes it easy to bring the desk up, but it should be just as easy to bring it back down. And leaving it in the stand-up position, it's not quite high enough to bring my laptop down underneath it back onto the desk. Besides that, it's sturdy; I like the two levels for a keyboard/mouse and the top level for the laptop/monitor. However, I wish that each of those levels were adjustable, too. My hips are feeling better, that was the goal; just have to be careful not to stand too long, or my low back starts to hurt.

When the converter is new and/or has not been lowered in a while, sometimes it locks into place. All you need to do is push down on the desktop with force while lifting the handle and the desk will go down.

It is perfect for my needs! I had gotten one which had a very stiff tilting lever, and so the stand up desk store kindly sent a replacement desk and that works very nicely. Highly recommend!

This adjustable stand up mechanism for my desk is just what I needed. It allows me time to get up and work each day. The mat is an accessory you want to purchase as well.

It does not require assemble. It is easy to use/adjust the height. It is very sturdy and looks very nice, too. My 11th grade son is using it. He loves it. I am very satisfied with my purchase and their fast delivery.

This stand is extremely sturdy! The pneumatic lift is tight but not too much and the top is non skid. A blessing to working from home. I would reccomend this to anyone at a computer for prolonged periods of time.

the desk has some good virtues. good height, easy raising. but it has a major shortcoming. it is had to fold. you have to put your whole weight on top to get it in the folded position. and worst. it does NOT have a latch or a mechanism that can lock it in place in the folded position. several times while moving the desk it springs open and almost caused injury. i request return authorization and thinking about it. it does have ample counter space. thanks

I do love the standing desk converter. I'm using it for my artwork. It's sturdy, not too heavy, and nice looking to boot. The reason I gave it a 4 rating is because it is a bit hard to lower. It's important to put equal downward pressure with both hands or it doesn't want to move. Elevating it is super easy.

I most certainly do enjoy my air riser desk. Can speedily, no assemble and was put into service right away! And when I wanted to depress the pneumatic lever to put the Air Riser down and away it was easy and effortless to do. Great service, great product and great company!

This is working well for me. The only draw back if the desk, when fully lowered, still adds about 2 inches to your regular desk. That make it difficult for me to use a laptop keyboard at that height. I may just start using an external keyboard that can sit on the regular desk.
Inexpensive, but sturdy solution to pain. Wish it were easier to lower.

It comes ready to go right out of the box. Seems to be well- made. Rises very easily with the lever, but it is a bit of a struggle for me to lower. I am 5’4”, and I have to stand on my toes and push quite hard. I hope it will get easier over time. Overall, I am happy. Very inexpensive solution to the neck and back pain that I get from staying in the same position hunching over my computer for hours. Plenty of room for laptop and large monitor on top shelf and keyboard and mouse on lower shelf.
Too small & adjustment isn’t smooth

Desk is too small to fit a full-size monitor a laptop and a keyboard, I had to return due to my office set up not fitting on desk. Pictures are misleading. Also the height change mechanism isn’t very smooth and it takes too much effort to control the speed at which it changes heights.
